Saw that the other day. I've played with guys I didn't like (or worked with), but couldn't imagine screwing up on purpose to affect them negatively.

 

Show of hands: anybody still shocked at Barry Sanders retiring after a relatively short career?

 

Kinda tells you something about those Lions teams. Even when they were good, who knows what was going on behind the scenes

 

Some OL should have whiffed on Ray Lucas .......maybe.

 

There was talk that Rex Hadnot whiffed on purpose when John Beck was QB, because he wanted Cleo Lemon back in the starting role.

 

At least he took ownership in being a POS.Can't imagine how he could admit that and be a sportscaster today.I will never listen to him now and forget that.

 

The more disturbing part is that he is taking pride in it. What a tool.

 

My thoughts exactly. He was joking about it too. When he eventually "apologizes", there's no way he could be sincere about it. Piece of $hit.
