Miami is trying to establish a mindset, an attitude, of making plays. It seems to be working.
"I think it starts with that consistency we've had on both sides of the ball," said Wake, who had 14 sacks last season. "And then you add that extra stuff, whether it's the interceptions or the 25-, 30-yard play, things like that that we were maybe missing last year."

Don't laugh, but the Dolphins have a better than 50-50 chance of winning that game because they can make big plays. Admittedly, that's not the same as saying the Dolphins will beat the Patriots. But if Miami continues making big plays on offense, defense and special teams, it has a chance to beat anyone.
