Many here have consoles and prefer the controller to the keyboard/mouse.
I, for one, love the control you have with a keyboard and mouse.
Ability to bind weapons/abilities to keys is crucial in most PC games, especially multiplayer fast-paced FPS games.
In the realm of fast-paced FPS genre you have games such as Unreal Tournament, Quake (all), etc.
I've been playing a game for a couple years and it's totally free.
Plays on all operating systems and the competition is darn good.

The development for the game was forked after the naming rights were bought by a company called Illfonic (who are making a console Nexuiz version for XBOX360 and PS3.)
This has led to a split in the player community of the game, some have gone on to play the fork called Xonotic.
