Many here have consoles and prefer the controller to the keyboard/mouse. I, for one, love the control you have with a keyboard and mouse. Ability to bind weapons/abilities to keys is crucial in most PC games, especially multiplayer fast-paced FPS games.

In the realm of fast-paced FPS genre you have games such as Unreal Tournament, Quake (all), etc. I've been playing a game for a couple years and it's totally free. Plays on all operating systems and the competition is darn good. The game is called Nexuiz, check it out:

The development for the game was forked after the naming rights were bought by a company called Illfonic (who are making a console Nexuiz version for XBOX360 and PS3.) This has led to a split in the player community of the game, some have gone on to play the fork called Xonotic. Check it out here:
