I happened to stumble upon this site, and figured I'd Join.
While I'm not a really a fan too much of the Phins I am however a Die hard Lions fan. Hence my User Name.
I however Believe the Lions might be ont he same road as The phins. If they can go 1-15 and become Div Champs, why can't the Lions go from 0-16 and do the same thing.
I am from the Detroit Area (North a good bit though)

Always feeling the frustration for your Lions. Some things just arent fair, and the way your franchise has been run is right at the top of that.

Hey there! I think you may be the only Lions fan here, but welcome! I will be rooting for the Lions this year. I want to see them do well. Those fans deserve it, and the city could use a morale boost as well. You're right...If Miami can go from 1-15 to 11-5, the Lions could do it too. Hopefully you guys sweep Favre and the Vikings!

I think you guys may be able to surprise a few teams this year, you may not have the same type of turnaround that Miami did, but you did a good job of drafting and you should be a better team that you were last year.Disnardo and azfinfanmang like this. -

Well, at least they waited until the 3rd round to draft a WR, that's an improvement. :pointlol:
From all reports that I've seen, Stafford looks good throwing the ball and he may see action sooner than some expect. Pettigrew is someone that I think most of us would have been happy with, not only is he a quality receiving TE but he's a great blocker which should help their OL and running game quite a bit. Delmas is another guy that should help out immediately and yet another player that we talked about as a possibility for the Phins. I think they did really well, 4-6 wins wouldn't surprise me, but they need to find a way to keep their QB upright.Anonymous likes this. -

as I see it, at least we can't get any worse. Only better.
And Many of us wished they would have gotten rid of Millen years ago.
If I recall correctly with him as President for 8 years, was the worst 8 years the Lions have had in several decades. I know several people Myself included wanted him gone after 2004. -

And i'm super jealous that Detroit has Megatron. He's unreal to watch. People can make fun of the WR picks over the past few years, but as a lion's fan you must be pleased they finally hit a home run with Calvin. Good to see their starting to put pieces in around him now, and they got rid of millen so it's a really good start.
