Sorry to break to the Homers but this guy has no clue! This team 2 out of 3 weeks were embarrassed on primetime.I don't even want to.go to work tommorow because I'm going to hear how bad we are.
Worst offence I have ever seen including the cam Cameron year. The team has quit and its on the shoulders of this overated coach.I don't see us winning another game.Defence has been exposed now so we're toast and we have no answers.

This season has shown gase to be a farce. He looks like an amateur with no head coaching experience and very limitted experience overall, which is Exactly what he is.
What we have needed here for years is a proven coach who knows how to win. When Shula came here he had already proven himself in Indy, same with Jimmy Johnson.
Ever since Jimmy left we have been cycling through inexperienced and unknown amateurs with no head coaching credentials. It's no wonder we have sucked ever since.
Owners and general managers have been clueless idiots as well.dolphin25, Mexphin and CanGasePlaybook like this. -

Well.. Gase has certainly looked clueless in a bunch of games this year. Not a good sign. And this loss is absolutely embarrassing. Nevertheless, this loss was expected let's not forget that. I'll still wait to see how the rest of the season plays out before passing judgment.

Look how good Dallas has been since Jerry Jones got himself a real GM and stopped pretending to be one himself.Mexphin likes this. -

I get that people don't like the people Ross hired, but that's not a reason to demand an owner sell a team (as if that means something). I mean, what do you want? A new owner of the San Antonio Dolphins? A cheapskate who'd rather pocket a few bucks than get a middling FA? Or! OR!!! Literal criminal Jimmy Haslem!
I get the Gase hate, the team is in a bad spot right now. Not midseason firing bad, but the needle for an end of season firing is moving heavier each loss. But the owner? It's bizarre. -
Oklahoma drills anyone?

I've hired, and worked with many people who've had "issues" in the past and guess what happened? They've learned from their mistakes and become good performers.
Now, while that's not true in every case, believe it or not, there's plenty of people who are more successful their second time around after a failure.
Case in point... Bill Belichick.
Pete Carrol.
There's plenty more really... especially in the world of sports.danmarino, jdallen1222 and Boik14 like this. -
Seriously, Ross isn't a football genius, none of the owners are. Jerry Jones tried so hard, God bless his little soul, and ran his team into the ground. They just sign checks.
Call for Tanny, Grier, Gase, etc ... but calling for Ross is a bad idea. You could be sooooooooooooooo much worse in a heartbeat, and unlike a ****ty GM/Coach, you can't fire an owner.danmarino likes this. -

Nobody has ever taken a hard line stance on the players in this organization. Not in the last 10+ years anyways. You can knock Gase for his playcalling, and offense, and press conferences all you want, but the only way you're going to fix this mess we have on our hands is to have a guy working like him, or similar to the devil in NE. If you REALLY want to change the culture, you're going to have to make a mess, and piss off alot of people first, or you're going to have to get really lucky, catch lightning in a bottle and win a pile of games and a title to solidify it. Not every team gets to do that like NE did.
I strongly believe, that until either Gase's plan of playing hardball with these guys takes root, or until you get that rookie QB that gets you to the promised land ASAP and gets everyone to buy in, this is the uphill battle you'll have, especially here in Miami. Too many guys here taking it easy.
Sadly though, in this business it's hard to be taken seriously, unless you're winning. Throw a beautiful climate into the mix, you've really got an uphill battle.danmarino, jdallen1222 and Boik14 like this. -
When you are a billionaire, spending money comes very easily. Unfortunately he constantly spends his money on front office personnel, coaches, and players who are mediocre at best and in many cases not qualified at all for the positions they were hired to fill.pumpdogs, hitman8 and CanGasePlaybook like this.
