Look I know he had a rough start, but I think he has gotten a little better eac week. He led the team in tackles this week and I think by season end he will be sutting up the critics. It is not easy getting rid of the Black Hole curse just ask Randy Moss, Kerry Collins & Warren Sapp.

That penalty pissed me off. And so did the one on Will Allen for PI. Both kept drives alive, and both were bull**** calls. Wilson didn't spear him with his helmet. The helmet to helmet contact was incidental.
-
That penalty didn't cost us the game, so I think the hit was a positive thing for the Fins secondary. It helps set a tone....you come over the middle like that and you're gonna pay for it. I hope all the TE's that we will face this season, see that hit during film study

the ball was uncatchable.

Another joke call for the Jets

Maybe my memory is serving me wrong, but he had a hand on it. Granted he's no Randy Moss, but Highlight Reel Randy Moss in the same position that guy was in would have been able to 1 hand that pass and reel it in...
My point being from what I remember seeing, he had his hand on the ball and in theory COULD have brought it in.
I don't agree with the call, but I don't think it was the wrong call either. I'm upset we got it, but I don't blame Wilson, or the refs either way. -
I thought it was an ok call personally... And on the Will Allen PI, watching it live I thought it was a good call as well. Replay clearly showed it was not, but the ref has to call what he sees in real time.

the helmet to helmet was the reason, and will continue to be ... the refs won't even look at the whole situation, just the helmet to helmet
since he was shorter, not sure that could have been avoided ... but none-the-less ...
i'll take that penalty every game if it sets a tone of coming across the middle -
Gibril Wilson is the RealDeal
he will not disappoint
coupled with Bell @ Safety, they will be awesome over the middle
both Culver & Clemons are excellent
just a matter of time before Clemons steps up to take the start
(plenty of depth)
what we have is an issue in timing & experience
in the defensive backfield, which requires time to resolve
the immediate solution is to be found in the Front Seven,
they have to apply pressure, especially on the pass rush
I'm very pleased where we are at in this point of the Reconstruction:
we are the reigning AFCE Champions after year one
& have significantly improved the Franchise in year twoPandarilla likes this. -

That was the only penalty they got right, It is so annoying how everytime a reciever looks at the umpire and signals for a flag it is given. The call on Allen was BS and the call on Bell was more BS. Both call kept drives alive and caused us points.
As for Gibril he has played a little bit better and is atleast tackling now. -
