January 23rd Free Agency for Coaches Begin
Teams may bid on head coaches and coordinators if they have decided to not retain one of their coaches or they have a vacant position.
February 8th Trades Period Begins
Teams may begin to trade with other teams.
March 1st Free Agency Begins
Teams may bid on available free agents.
March 27th Draft Begins
The GM League Draft starts at this time.
April 27th Roster Freeze
Teams can no longer trade players, cut players, or sign free agents.
May 2nd Final Rosters Due
GMs must submit their final roster by this date.
May 3rd Voting Period Begins
Voting polls go up.
May 9th Winner is Announced
The 2010 GM League winner along with the Best-Off Category winners will be announced.
Date changes are possible if things begin to run quicker than anticipated.

I think we should move the trade date up to this weekend, tomorrow to be more precise. We have a good handle on the draft picks based on that previous site and GIK if you need help with the ordering, let me know as you know I'm a draft order geek... Sure the last two teams haven't been decided, but the difference certainly isn't earth shattering.

should we move up free agency? Don't really like the idea of starting it on a Monday anyway... I say bump it to the 24th or the 26th... thoughts?

no... no you couldn't.. well you could yes.. but no... i'm bored... nobody is making any trades, they want to see what happens in free agency, lets fire this thing up. I mean the official trade thread has become a mockery... trading unlucky... cmon now...

the main problem is inactivity. I have to say the GM league was bumpin for the first week. Then it got warm when trades could happen now its almost non existent with maybe 9 GM's active? Now it will probably pick up once FA hit but I wouldn't mind moving it up.

I could understand if GIK wanted the free agency signing period to coincide with the real NFL, yet that starts on Mar 5th.. this is slated to start on Mar 1st. And GIK did say in his own words ("Date changes are possible if things begin to run quicker than anticipated") ... thanks to you BK, we have the FA list... and GIK is out picking corn again...:shifty:BuckeyeKing likes this.

Yeah all the cuts should be up tomorrow so everything should be set. Hell I might even sift through the OL, DL, LB, and DB's.

Well some of us have been busy and have not had a chance to make cuts and what not. Just sayin'
Plus, you guys are vets in this thing, you know this happens every year, it was just exasperated this year because A LOT of trades were made before trading actually started.
Just hang in there everyone, we will be at FA before we know it. -

Probably will... Over my spring break while I'm at work I'll get things prepared. Expect some sort of announcement sometime this week.
