No he isn't.

He ranks as 54 in ADP of WRs for this year. That's squarely sleeper territory.

It's good news, Odrick inside with Vernon outside has more potential long-term I feel.

I know it was just day 1, and there's time to come back, but doesn't sound like Jeff Adams did his chances much good yesterday allowing those two sacks on Tannehill. A lot can change though when contact begins.

Odrick sort of shot that down yesterday in his post-practice interview. He said the coaches were rotating he, Soliai, and Starks inside to keep them fresh. A reporter then asked him about playing DE; Odrick danced around that question. Then, in Cameron Wake's interview, Wake said that Odrick can play the 6 Technique (DE where he was last year) 1 Technique (where he played in nickel last year) and 3 technique (where they've had him lining up in the base so far this year). I think that means we'll see him all across the line.

Very exciting. It's nice to read this stuff when I return to my desk every now and then. Helps me forget that it's Monday :sad:

Man anything positive about Daniel Thomas is just gravy at this point, I've pretty much given up on him

@OmarKelly - Today Paul Soliai is paired with Randy Starks on the 1st team defensive line. They are apparently rotating.

-- Jimmy Wilson and Kelcie McCray are teamed together as the second team safeties. If I had to guess Wilson is the FS. But its just a guess.

-- Matt Moore just threw a long touchdown pass to Rishard Matthews. Moore still throws a pretty long ball.

-- Kheeston Randall deflected a Matt Moore pass at the line of scrimmage.

-- Dallas Thomas is the second team left tackle. He had the same shoulder surgery Dion Jordan had, same time table, and is practicing.

-- The Dolphins are moving Brandon Gibson and Mike Wallace around today.

-- Mike Pouncey is in great shape. Probably the best shape he's every been in. He runs like a LBer getting to the second level.

-- Brian Thomas is working as the second team right guard and not Lance Louis, who is being brought along slowly.

-- The Dolphins receivers are doing a lot of motion, which makes it virtually impossible to tell who is the slot with Davone Bess gone.

My estimation is Lamar Miller will be used heavily in base sets, where the formation forces the defense to use bigger, slower players. The base offense has a lot of speed and quickness, which can force a defense to play faster than it may be capable.

When facing nickel/defenses, the Dolphins will go big with Daniel Thomas as a single back along with multiple TEs.

Sherman had a similar rotation with Ahmad Green/Edgar Bennett as base and Najeh Davenport as 3rd down back

I like that, takes a lot of predictability out of the offense that we had last year.

I have not seen the dolphins line up with a true FB even once this camp. Maybe I missed it, but I can see why no Vonta Leach.

Looks like we're going full H back mode....

Reports are that Koa Misi has swolled up nicely.

I wonder who's lining up opposite Grimes? I'm guessing either Carroll or Patterson, as can't imagine Taylor or Davis will have done enough to earn first team snaps just yet.
