Unfortunately, my eliptical machine kicked the bucket earlier this year and I was left without a way to do cardio other than walking. However, after getting my tax refund, my wife and I shopped around and decided on a Max Trainer from Bowflex, and it is awesome. Its kind of a combo between a stair climber and an eliptical machine, but takes up half the space, and burns double the calories. It's been completely kicking my rear end the past few weeks, and I've only worked up to doing 20 minutes at a time, but burning more calories than I did in 30 before. My eventual goal is to do 30 a day, and if the counter on the machine is right, that should burn about 600 per workout. So far, so great, and I highly recommend it.
