Multiple reports via Twitter. Most likely a 1 year deal.
@Rand_Getlin: WR Greg Jennings will sign with the #Dolphins, a source said. Great fit. They needed a veteran receiver.

Interesting. Even less need to go wr round one. Wondering if our real target has been masked

This a a great fit for him and the Dolphins. I expect he does better here than just about anywhere else.

@NFLFilmStudy: Jennings is definitely a great fit for what Miami does. He was a troublesome matchup for numerous top CBs last year. He's got game left

They're really taking the nervousness out of this draft. Good timing...

Somewhere, KB is rolling his eyes that we didn't do this 2 years ago.

Hopefully this will mean the Dolphins will NOT draft a WR in the first round. My preference has always been Gurley in round one, but I will be satisfied with a top CB, offensive lineman, or LB, if they decide to not draft Gurley.

It's refreshing to see a front office that doesn't turn it's nose up at veteran free agents who can fill a position of need. It wasn't long ago when any fan who has ever watched a few minutes of football could identify huge blatant holes on the Dolphins roster. Holes that could be filled with veteran free agents. But the weeks and months would go buy and no moves would be made by the feces Ireland. 2 games into the regular season and those holes average Joe fan was able to spot were dooming the Dolphins. Hickey / Tannehbaum might not make up the best front office in the league, but they are competent, and competency is something the front office was sorely lacking for years under the stench of Irish.

Now trade Rishard Matthews to the 49ers for a pick.

Could it be Philly's package to move up got too good to pass up at 14 so we sign Jennings and drop back with picks/players??????

why post this stuff if it hasn't happen. I always get pumped up then get deflated when things like this don't come true.
-
I'm happy with Jennings, but I still really want Parker in round 1.

What's nice about this is that he's not a guy you have to feature or give all the snaps to. I guess the possible downside is that we still don't have a true #1, but maybe we'll try going without one. He's a perfect scheme-fit and complimentary vet to a young group that really needed depth. Lots of mixing and matching these versatile inside/outside types with Landry, Jennings, Stills, Mathews.
