Starting center Jake Grove (left ankle) sat out the media portion of this morning's Bubble-icious practice. Grove was riding the stationary bike along with reserve defensive end Lionel Dotson. Figure on Grove doing everything possible to play this week, but keep in mind he didn't return to last Thursday's game at Carolina even after backup C Joe Berger went down briefly as well.

Defensive ends Kendall Langford and Lionel Dotson were the most intriguing absences when the Dolphins began their preparations for Buffalo Wednesday inside the practice bubble.
Guard Justin Smiley was in pads but not working with the No. 1 offensive line.

True that, he is not doing a good job of rushing the passer BUT is that really what we want from him? The guy has been good against the run which I believe is just as important.

The DolfanNew MemberWhen they showed Grove on the sideline against Carolina he looked like he really wanted to get back in there. I really like what I've seen from Jake so far this year. He is a solid competitor and I have faith that he will get back in the game soon. Even if he sits out against Buffalo this week, I think that might be for the best. He needs to be 100% against NE.

BpkLuxury BoxWe will need him back vs NE, truly. Also, our rushing attack dominates up the middle, according to NFL O-line stats. I think that's in large part due to Grove.
