Happiness is...

Backing up everything on a 6-year-old computer, doing a system restore while reconfiguring the hard drive and bringing an old computer back to serviceable life instead of paying for a new one--just cost me $190 for the 1 TB USB drive to save everything.

We have 4 machines in the house, one for everyone--it is needed.

Yeesh, I hated the train from SD to LA.

 

Tough situation as I know that one. I am my mothers caretaker and I have to just about forego any kind of private life right now. My older brother is not much help and its up to me to take care of her, as she cannot live on her own.

Thanks bunches bro. I never thought I would see my mother in this state either. She was always the strong one in the family, the one that whethered all of the bad times with her chin up, and never let any of us down. Now reduced to adult diapers and a walker, and my having to clean her 4 or 5 times a day, well its humiliating for her.
