Lol, I saw this on ESPN earlier today.
It may indeed have affected their progress on the field. These players are talents that are needed on the field but they aren't available due to stupid decisions made.
You also have to question their scouting. Do they do their homework on these players? If you continue to have bad characters on the team, do you really think your going to win with a bunch of players that will be suspended an X amount of games yearly? -
Aside from me disagreeing with the overall tone of the article, this quote is complete crap:
I'm sure the millions of dollars the football team makes each season pays for no part of their scholarships. -
Well move over Miami you just gave up Thug U to Penn St.
-
Hell I would like to know OSUs, USCs, LSUs, and FSUs transgressions over the same time period.
This is not unique to Penn State (as in the problem resides around the country in regards to collegiate athletics), though it is unique to Penn State in that the campus is not used to it. -

Ohio St has its fair share of punks but Tressel at least takes action. -
Penn State= Joke!!
I realize there isnt much to do around that place but do you have to take 15 guys with you to beat up a handfull of dorks?
Then again when it's 11 on 11 they seem to struggle. -
I'm sorry, not every program can be in such great shape as to lose consecutive bowl games and fail to beat any SEC team at the same time. :up:Skeet84 likes this. -
JoePa is being interviewed on Sportscenter tonight to defend his players/program for those interested.

I don't know if that jab at Ohio St was a insult given we take of business in the Big Ten and make to the big game. So we lost the past 2 years against the best team from the best conference in college football thats fine I can live with that. -
