When has that ever come back to bite us?

Not worried about Hill going within the division, especially to the Patriots who would still be short on talent. The Dolphins are a good 5 starting players away from winning the division. They need to add skill however they can get it.

This is just a prediction with literally no proof to back up anything.

Anything can happen, but this article is akin to my 7 yr old son making a prediction on who the Dolphins will pick in the next draft.

I take it as discussion point not putting credence into a trade scenario with any legs since we're still in January pre Conference championships.

Hill and the Dolphins are most likely stuck with each other for at least next season. This is a classic "cheaper to keep her" situation for team. Hill should eat a nice fat slice of humble pie and apologize to the team for quitting on them and try to move on after his selfish rant to close out the season. But if he does end up getting traded it would be a horrible idea to send him anywhere in the division.

I won’t be surprised either way. There are pros and cons to either decision. If they trade him the dead money will hurt, but it won’t be back breaking. Look what the Bills did with Diggs. His dead money was much higher and they’re doing fine. The cap is too fungible to worry about. The Dolphins FO is inept in a lot of things, but their handling of the cap isn’t one of them.

If it were ME and I had to pay someone to play against me, I’d rather pay $12 million than $28 million ndolphin25 likes this.
