While Bayless is often a contrarian, I don't think you can say that is the case here. Outside of those here that keep saying "it's an illusion", most everybody else is saying this is a very good team that's playing very well. I'm talking about coaches and media. I watch NFL Network most weeks and early on you almost always saw every single "expert" pick against the Dolphins winning. Once in a blue moon you'd get one that might say "they Dolphins get their first win this week", but that was it. Now Miami is usually the unanimous pick. If there is a a vote against, it's usually b/c they believe in the other team rather than b/c they don't believe in Miami.

Bayless is beyond annoying.

Anyways, I'am hoping that if this level of play continues, we all we be able to put our guard down, and try to see a different perspective on the now instead of the past..and what I mean by that is, maybe the body of work is not relative to this point and time.

All these celebration rules are getting out of hand. They always fall back to "it was the right call according to the rule". Maybe it's about time that somebody figures out that the rules are poor. I'll just say this..He did fu$# up this offseason, but I'am tellin yeah, that man has excellent leadership qualities, like really good, and is now completely happy being a Miami Dolphin, and is ready to take ownership of that title...He has to now because of his comments all offseason on him being the best. He's accepting that role..So, he's put himself into this situation where his natural leadership qualities will come thru, and I believe this to be true,our franchise will reap the benefits because of it.

He flat out said, NOWAY, should Sparano get fired, and if he happens to inspire this group against the eagles, and they win again, this story is about to blow up.

I trust this mother grabber..I think his opinion is going to carry a lot of weight.

He has no experience as a GM and his opinion on such matters should hold zero weight.

So he "likes" Tony.
Fantastic!
He can invite him to Christmas dinner every year going forward.
I don't think the role of coach has ever been one that holds much importance to a "friendship factor".

In fact I played football into college and I can flat out tell you looking back that the most effective coaches I ever had were not the ones I liked the most personally. The coach I hated the most is the one I respect the most because he pushed the hell out of us.

So for me this grass roots movement by the players in support of Sparano means nothing and it shouldn't mean anything to Ross.

Ask Ray Lewis what?

They have a strong coach.
It's not all about "like".
Also the players have mentioned that Harbaugh is tough on them.
They respect him and believe in what he's pushing them towards.
The importance of the coaching position is gaining the respect of the players and getting them to believe in what they are doing NOT whether the players get a "warm and fuzzy" feeling from their coach.

hence the completely invalid. Point is, as someone who does the work, yes you can judge rather or not a boss is good/knows what they are doing, etc.

if he is approached about coaches who coach his unit and the team.

Its not about warm and fuzzy..

I wanted harbaugh bad..whats the point?..different coaches have won the big game.
