It should look strangely familiar since many of the people who were or are on the staff here (including our founders Muck and Celtkin) were staff over there before this place came in to existence in late 2007. Additionally, many of the posters here were on FH for a number of years. I like to think we took the cream of the crop. Anyway, welcome! :)

 

Do you walk into someone's house for the first time and announce that you hope the people that leave here don't suck as bad as the people from the house you just left? And if you do, are you incredulous if the new people treat you like crap?

I was one of the first members of thePhins, leaving my old haunt for kinder pastures... have seen a major change in the quality of posting ever since in every respect. my only regret is too many of the original posters that comprised the board have slipped away for one reason o another. having said that, welcome aboard & may you have a colorful, meaningful & pleasant experience with thePhins.

p.s sometimes too much color & too many comics can become a distraction, even an annoyance. been there & done that... many of our posters are using devices other than big-screens to follow the conversation with the forum. I have been told, it can be frustrating at times i.e. too much color, too many caricatures.... whatever, enjoy!

It's eerily familiar is right, it's the same type of blow hards posting here that posted on that forum. They DETEST anyone who criticizes any player or GM in this organization. Then they SPIN stats, if you tell them the Dolphins are 28th in Rushing, they'll tell you that Lamar Miller is actually averaging 6.4 yds a carry running Left on grass on games above 71 degrees. They bend over backwards to defend Mediocrity and can't take a little razzing. It's unfortunate, how they enjoy the losing atmosphere is beyond me.

 

yup, the losing atmosphere of 3-2 is simply atrocious, and it's deplorable that we don't treat the team like a puddle of 0-5 piss like you overbearingly do. :unsure:
