Now that is just too cool. Never seen anything like it.

I cant figure out - is it being controlled and therefore can cease fire - or is it simply deploying its entire pay load and then drops at empty?
Also, while clearly the concept is neat and has a huge "butt-clench" factor for an enemy, what's its accuracy I wonder?
Very cool..... -

I'm guessing it's be used more like a grenade. Deploy it into a closed area and send death on a career day
-
If it can be programmed to not fire in a particular direction, then it would greatly reduce the danger of friendly fire, although probably not eliminate it completely. Another question is where would something like this be used. I don't see it being used in places like Iraq because the insurgents will use human shields.

It's a Kenetic kill vehicle for missile defense. This is not a weapon by any means.

Just like the EKV or Exoatmospheric Kill Vehicle, it is "Boosted" into the path of an oncoming ICBM.
It is really just a Payload that goes spastic as incoming threat is detected.
EDIT: Actually after watching it again, it is EXACTLY like an EKV and what you are seeing is the propulsion system.
The EKV has 4 "Jets" that direct it into the path of an incoming ICBM. This is just Lock-Mart's version of something that already exists :up:Miamian, dolphan117, like2god and 1 other person like this. -

Am I the only one who immediately thought of the Terminator series?
