Just saw this report and haven't seen it discussed in the other threads. I was really hoping we'd have some dynamic two-tight end sets with Long and Gesicki this season, so hopefully, this isn't going to prove to be a long-term injury. Prayers up for the rook.

I hope he can make it back and play at least part of the season, as a rookie he needs that experience.
It also makes getting Gesicki signed long-term look that much better. Imagine our TE group without Long or Gesicki. Might as well go 5 WR sets at that point. :)KeyFin and OwesOwn614 like this. -

12:22 p.m.: Rookie tight end Hunter Long sustained a leg injury (looked like a knee) and was removed in a cart. He seemed to injure himself on a run after catch on a completion from Jacoby Brissett. He fell hard to the turf and couldn’t put pressure on the leg.... -
