So one of my classes for psy is a stats class and our lab is online and we have a exam each week but the thing that sucks is we can't show work so we cant receive i partial credit. The quiz is 5 questions so if i get one wrong i fail. I finished the quiz and its not due until tomorrow at 5pm so just wanted to double check my work, if anyone wants to look it over.

here are the questions i need help on.

For 3 i got 6.20 First i did x-5 and got -1,-3,-1,2,4. then i squared it and added them up and got 31, divided by 5 numbers and got 6.2. I am pretty sure its right but agian not 100%

For 3, i was confused with the squared out of the brackets, I got .04 and that does not seem right at all.

The final one i think i got right but wanted to make sure. I did X*Y first got the sum of 56 then times that by 36 which to get 1904 then divided that by 4 and got 476. Thanks for the help!

    I got: 6.2, .2, 22.45 (well 22.44994)

    On #4:
    (-1)+(-3)+(-1)+2+4= 1.
    1^2=1.
    1/5=.2

    On #5:
    56*36 = 2016.
    2016/4= 504.
Then you have to SQRT 504.

Those would be my best guesses for answers at least.

thanks! yeah i see where i messed up on 5, i got 1904 instead of 2016 when i timed 56 and 36. 4 makes sense too! Thanks again! i really appreciate it!

interesting. i never did a single calculation with my stats classes other than real simple math

it was all about knowing the interpretations.
