Dolphins 24 Panthers 21. Remember the Seattle game last year guys? The Phins typically do well against us NFC teams. I think you guys got this. If I am wrong you can give me a beating lol.

We seem to typically do well against west coast teams coming to Miami, but Carolina is east coast as well.
The thing that might work for us is perhaps Carolina having a "letdown" game after the big win last week. Shame they don't play the Saints next week or it could be a combo "letdown" from the week before and "look ahead" to the next. It's a winnable game if we can keep their running game from pounding us and we make a few plays, but after the last few weeks that is an iffy proposition. -
I bet that is what you guys want is for them to think this is an easy win.

So I wouldn't categorize the Bucs as "crappy." Their record certainly is though.Ducken, PhinFan1968 and MikeHoncho like this. -

You guys put a lot of pressure on Rivers last week?

I just think we're a bad matchup with the Panthers and their defense should feast on our O-Line and RB's. However, the Panthers are coming off a huge emotional win at home. They play the Saints in two weeks. So maybe they have a down game, which happens in the NFL.
Steve Smith vs. Brent Grimes will be an interesting matchup. I'm sure they're familiar with each other from the NFC South. Also...Ted Ginn Jr returns!P h i N s A N i T y likes this. -
Your collarbone ruined my fantasy season.

Unlikely IMO, but certainly possible.

Philip Rivers ran for a 1st down on us. I can see us getting steamrolled. Our offense would have to play lights out. I see the Panthers as scoring at will against us really.
EDIT: Calling a Ginn return TD as well. -
As for our o-line, you can't compare it to earlier in the year as most of the players are different. McKinnie has solidified the LT position, Brenner and Garner weren't out of place at LG and C, Jerry...no comment and Clabo has been much improved since his benching. Again people are reading volume stats and making determinations. -
Not with our offensive line, we don't.

Per usual, if you guys win, you'll be back for a day to gloat and then never to be seen again. Of course if we win, we'll never see or hear from you again. -
-
As for teams looking past teams, it indeed does happen and usually in the spot the Panthers are in right now - with two big wins and big showdown with NO the following week. Happened to us all the time in the early 2000's when our players started to believe their press clippings. -

and in fairness, the NE games was better offense than in some of those 30 plus games. Carolina only had 6 real offensive drives against NE....scored on 4 of those. THAT....is great scoring. -
