the best part is we dont even have to beat denver this week. the way the rest of our schedule plays out, even if we lose to denver we have a long stretch of very beatable teams to close the season (seattle, oakland, NE at home, st. louis, buffalo, SF, KC, Jets). we know we can beat NE and Buffalo, and the combined record of the other teams is only 13-30, with the jets being the only team that has won more than 2 games. definitely all winnable games

i'm gonna go out on not that big of a limb to say this might be the toughest matchup for the rest of the season, knowing that denver is coming off a bye, 2 losses, and are feeling pressured by the chargers.

 

I won't root for either the Jets or the Bills. I can't do it. Let's go Colts. If we beat Denver than we will be in great position.

 

oh definitely, i do believe we can win this game, and if we do win, the 'analysts' i'm sure will be all up on our teams jocks again as a 'surprise' playoff contender, but this is deifnitely our toughest out of division game for the rest of the season, so winning sunday would give me a heckuva lot more hope for something really special to happen this season.

 

i know, i'm going to be at the seattle game (my first dolphins home game ever! woot) so we had better absolutely crush them. i will be so depressed if we let that banged up team come in and beat us. its scary because they'll most likely be coming off a loss against Philly this week. maybe they can beat the eagles and then they'll get cocky coming in to play us.

We'd be one game away from contending for the division. In the other scenario we'd be two games away. No reason to give up on winning the division just yet.

 

It would also be better for us if the Jets win the division instead of Buffalo. Right now we would win the tie-breaker over Buffalo if we are both in contention for a Wild Card berth.

 

Sorry, I have morals. There's no way I could ever root for any team from New York. Its not the teams, its their classless fans that ruin it.

Over the years I have seen a few polls, mostly, it breaks down by age. The older folks hate on the jets, for the middle aged folks its buffalo, then for you younger fans it's the patsies. :hi5:

I think that's mainly due to the time periods in which they were on top in the division.

The Jets were great in the 1970s and early 1980s. The Bills were great in the 1990s. The Pats have been great lately.

By that logic, I should hate the Bills. But I hate the Jets.

Truth is IF we make the Playoffs, I dont see it any other way than Wildcard. We just dont have enough horses..yet, especially on Defense.
The JESTS losing is one step to our playoff hopes, via wildcard.

 

I'd rather have my pee-pee slammed in a car door than cheer for the jests to do anything more than crap the bed and get beat like a red headed step child every week.
My second favorite team is whoever is playing the jets every week, I'll be swallowing the vomit in the back of my throat as I hope the fluffy ho jills beat the jests by 3 points, not cover the spread and fill the injury list for bothe teams. Extra points for jest DB's.

I can, will, and do root for any team that puts miami in a better postion to enter the post season. Be that AFC East rivals or the dreadded ShEagles. Luckly the latter only occurs every four years.

 

If they have Bob Sanders and Addai back then I think they take that game.

Maybe even with just Sanders.

I dont care either way. One will lose and it will help us when we win. The one that wins is just "keeping pace". Who I am rooting for is Indianapolis. A NE loss helps so much and as long as we take care of business withing the Division the rest of the year, the rest of the schedule gives us a chance.

 

The only way I could cheer on the jests would be for, no not that....Oh yeah, if....no not that either...Oh, I know if....no no no...I just can't see a way to cheer on the jests at this point...Well, the only way would be if it had playoff ramifications for us and as much as I see us improved, I don't see us that much improved...so go Jills....

If we win this game its truly a groundbreaking developement, if we win this game our team is so far ahead of schedule its ridiculous.
