can you look at those end zone corners in the lower bowl and see something going on there?.
They say in print that their going to be ''MOVING 3,900 seats CLOSER TO THE FIELD''...however, on this page you will notice where they do not mention any reconfiguring of concrete at all.
Ive read that they're gonna move those seats to the lower bowl, and in the pics here you can see a change, Which tells me that their not just adding rows at the bottom of the lower bowl their actually going to reconfigure a little and I think that area is in each corner of the end zones, if you look at the new pics of the renovation, you see something different there with the alignment in that area..
what do you all see?

A jammed packed stadium full of Dolfans if the team continues to get better and we have Championship talent and COACHING so that we have an awesome chance to bring the Lombardi back to Miami....I have to tell you Deej that I have been to the stadium several times with 75000 plus loud screaming Dolfans rocking the " house that Robbie built." It's not the stadium but the product that has been on the field for the last 20 or so years with a few exceptions...the new renovations ( especially the shade ) coupled with a great team on the field will get the stadium rocking again.

Love the seats will be dark blue. You def get a feel of a more intimate football stadium..and I think its distinctively south florida. You look at what they spent on new stadium in NY..and theres nothing about it that has character. You could stick that stadium anywhere and its..eh..and they spent 2 bil on that.
I def see concrete construction..just put that pic next to another from Sun Life -
The entire lower bowl is completely different. The players tunnel is gone and it looks like there are 2 of them now in the far corners of the end zones. The entry tunnels for the 100 level are gone and are now directly below the upper level.
Edit: The entry tunnels are still there but something is different about the 200 level. It doesn't look like any of it is under the upper deck any more. It also looks like there are fewer rows throughout the upper deck.Paul 13 likes this. -
The new stadium from your link shows smaller/narrower sidelines so it does mean they added seats to the bottom level.
-
I don't like the kite looking roof. And the sidelines appear to be just as deep as they've always been.

Taking a 2nd look, I see the lower seats dont taper away from the field like they currently do. -
Check out the upper deck tunnels. They are all the way at the bottom. It looks like 5 to 10 rows have been removed all the way around. -
What is that, a whole 7 yards closer to the field? I don't think I'll be happy with anything they do at that site, until they pull it all down and try again. -
I think the pictures you guys are looking at are just mocks. Not sure that is going to be exactly how it ends up.

Deej, I think you're dramatically underestimating the effect the canopy is going to have on not only keeping butts in seats but also in amplifying the sound.

McFly, the section is non existent, as in NO seating.
-
It does look to me like the seats are slightly closer to the sidelines. I also absolutely hate the tentpoles for the canopy. There has to be a better way.
-
With the flat canopy, there's much less echo, and more sharp loudness projected directed right at the players. -

-
My front rows seats better stay front row seats...

Corner tunnels makes a ton more sense.djphinfan likes this. -

That's why it's so important even if it's 4000 seats, it could help the team so much more, when players feel like fans are on top of them they are more compelled to perform at a higher level, the more they feel like the spotlight is on them and they can't hide, the harder they will perform, the closer the fans energy is to them the more sustained their own energy will be. -
I don't see how a clear glass canopy can make it any cooler for the fans. Seems like it would be like the inside of a car in 95 degrees not moving with the windows half open. There may be protection from the harmful UV rays but not the heat.

It pisses me off because we're not clear as to their plan with this issue, which probabaly should tell us all we need to know..nothing is going to happen..with the roof, and the screens and the other improvements I really don't know if there's enough money to reconfigure some concrete in the lower bowl.
I wish someone would ask them some clear questions.
