Agreed. he's got the tools, he's got the ability. He just needs to put it all together in his head, which is bound to happen, and you'll see him get more aggressive then. Hope the injury isnt too bad. He walked off the field, so hopefully its not too major.

 

Your imagining things. Henne was 19 of 28 for 240 yards and 1 TD for 2 and 3/4's game of work.

If you guys weren't so biased what you would have noticed changing is that the running game came alive after being something like 15 carries for 18 yards.

 

Seriously did you not notice all the deep balls today? His Yards Per Attempt was over 8.5 which is VERY good for a QB.

 

I am not imagining anything. Henne makes the team worse at everything. Henne led them to a 13 yard td drive. That was it.

 

Will be fun watching Henne after we get an OC who hasn't been a failure the vast majority of his 31 year NFL career.

No. It was later shown that it was a 200k bonus for every game he takes a snap. Not a 3.5 mil bonus for being named starter.

Great post! Henne played great today considering that he was benched 4 days ago. 67% completion, 1 TD, 240yds with a bad throw INT to Marshall. That's a 92 QBR.

 

Compared to your posts so far..........yah I'm bloody Einstein next to you.

Simple facts are Henne put up quite solid numbers today despite the complete lack of a running game. It simply can't be argued without putting the hater-aid glasses on.

So the guy throws a grand total of 6 passes (1 of which was also a horrible throw and should have been picked also) and your ready to annoint him starter? That's just as crazy if not more so. All I am saying today is there is no way Henne can be bad mouthed today for his 25th start (Hell Flacco had 3 TD's and 6 INT's from game 24 to 30 I do believe before he started tearing it up). He had a very good game despite having absolutely no running game backing him up. If he's healthy (which is the key) then I think he's got his starter job back as Penny isn't going to be back anytime soon.

If they aren't healthy then all Thiggy did was not make me panic as much about having our 3rd QB start the next game with street FA's backing him up.....even with Thiggy's penchant for bone headed int's also.

If healthy I want to finish the season with Henne....and figure out what we got once and for all.

 

Not as crazy as the guys ready to enshrine a below average at best QB into the hall of fame on one drive. Come talk when he's playing against a team that's actually gameplanned for him.

I "trothplight" myself to the QB who gives us the best chance to win. Thiggy came out and played well. He also looked terrible at times. He didn't cost us the win that Henne earned with his performance today. That's also good.

You giving Thiggy all the props and maybe even suggesting that he won this game is the "melon headed" thing to do. Thiggy hasn't proven anything to me or the coaches all season. Do you think there's a reason he is the 3rd string QB? Do you think there's a reason he's not a starter on one of the other 31 NFL teams? Do you think there's a reason he was beaten out by Cassel, (another below average QB)?
