Nobody can say he can't carry the rock as a feature back, he can't take a pounding, and he can't run between the tackles. Dude can flat out play and it just took the right system to make it happen.
Hopefully whoever comes in as HC next season will see how to use him and will continue to believe in Reggie. I am a believer.

Really happy Bush turned things around in Miami.

I was wrong about Reggie; he's been a nice addition. However, I wouldn't go around signing him to any type of big extension based on this season alone.
-
I was at the game today and judging by what I saw, he had a rough start but I felt like I was watching a guy just grind it out and control the tempo all game. This was the last thing i ever expected from Bush. But watching him live was fun, he played a memerable game.

Well, I'm not sure he turned anything around, or just had the chance to carry the ball more often.
I do love the fact he is getting stronger as the season rolls along, 3 straight 100 yds games? -
Bush can always take a pounding and no task is too big. Clearly. Especially in soggy, slippery conditions. SoFla humidity favors Bush in this regard. You put Bush in a position to make things happen, and you can really go to work with Bush.Steve-Mo, ToddsPhins, Colorado Dolfan and 1 other person like this. -
I wanted the move to happen before it did for several reasons...
I was following how hard he was training up until the aqusition by us, combined with his age, the natural ability, some new found leadership talent, and need for his skillset, I thought it was the right move..
Good job Irish..
Just think how hard this dude is gonna work this offseason... -
The move to natural grass also was big. It's way better on the joints and he wanted it. Just finished Week 15 and he's healthy and looks explosive as hell. His 25th carry today went 76 yards.
Guy really knuckled down, took his already great conditioning to another level and ultimately achieved his goal.
He's proven all of us wrong and it's great. Easily the best season of his career. And he's unquestionably become a leader on this team. -
-
Where's the guy who made the thread swearing Bush would be hurt by week 8 or whatever?
Seriously though, he's had a good year and glad to see him having success. -
Followed his blockers patiently until he saw a crease and exploded through it. Someone is coaching him.

BTW, keep in mind Reggie was traded for a Conditional draft choice, no one knows what it will be now.
-
Hmm, where are the folks who thought we should have kept Ronnie&Ricky?

Run Reggie Run

Just wanna let everyone know this man is a legit 26 years old, won't be 27 til march..
Also...He is the perfect example as to why players who understand nutrition, and optimum physical training for the craft are becoming more valuable in the art of player evaluation.Killerphins and ToddsPhins like this. -

Maybe Ronnie should ask Reggie, what he eats, and where he works out... -

That is a serious flaw in his game, for example Pat Turner did not pan out, he traded for what he thought Turner would be, Marshall, we wind up trading for Bush after Sheets did not pan out.
Did land CClay, but Gates the WR is a non factor in the offense to the point he doesn't play on offense. -

The only thing Cam ever did right was see Ronnie's potential, albeit after the Jessie Fatman fiasco.

Legendary Dolphin, but just could not shake the injury bug in Miami, something happened every yr.
