Yeah of the options available I'd also be for Cutler.
Kind of similar to Tannehill in that he needs the right supporting cast, but with the right surrounding cast he should play similarly well I think. We have weapons on offense.. combine that with Gase and Cutler just might work out. -
I thought Matt Moore would at least get a shot (maybe he still does).
I know Bears fans didn't really enjoy his demeanor when he was a QB. As an outsider, I quite enjoyed his IDGAF attitude, as long as he DGAF about giving us hope for this season. -

Ian Rapoport from NFL network says the Dolphins are in contract discussions with Cutler. Cutler is the top choice to replace Tannehill.

I say "ready to take a beating", qb position may be a carousel of players this year. Unless they sign a mobile qb. -

There would be no way Smokin Jay does that over Marino, right?

1 year 13 mil? Seems like a lot. If he's getting that, he's definitely going to be the starter.

Hoping to see a well rested Jay Cutler come in and build on his knowledge of the Gase offense, takes full advantage of the offensive weapons around him, and displays a burning desire to prove his critics wrong on his way to playing the best season of his career.
In fact, I hope we have a great season and a nice playoff run. If that leads to a QB controversy in 2018 as Tanny comes back healthy? A good problem to have is what that is. We could sign Jay for another couple years, trade Tanny for a nice package of draft picks, and make a playoff run every year till about 2020 when we start a QB search again. Or we thank Jay for a great 2017 season and welcome Tanny back to an improving team with even more playoff experience and expectations.
