with the right coaching staff and a better OL he could be top 10 back easy. Just needs better players around him and a better scheme.

for real. I never liked the guy. Another player we traded up for to get. Turns his back to the OL often before hitting the hole totally mind blowing to me. Do love Miller and Williams though.

 

In Philbin's defense, he did cut the guy at one point this season and he likely was the best option for us once Moreno went down. I'm not a big fan on DT, but he filled a hole for a while... We certainly need to look for someone as a secondary to Miller, if for nothing more than for Miller's sake... he's simply not an every down back either...

Daniel Thomas is the best back we've had since Lamar Gordon.

 

They totally failed to replace Moreno. Thomas didn't even make the original roster, he was beat out by Williams and even Darkwa. But then Knowshon went down and Philbin found a way to get his man crush back in the picture. We initially ignored Williams and even eventually lost Darkwa in the process. *Now this is just before Jonas Gray emerges for the Patriots. Hopefully the lesson has been learned.

 

And bypassed Stevan Ridley and DeMarco Murray in the process.
