With four picks in rounds two and three, it may be worth it for Los Angeles area Dol-fans to meet at a bar for Day Two of the draft.
We can:
- discuss how we liked the 12th overall pick
- see what the Phins do with their four picks in rounds two and three
- talk about what new merchandise we plan to buy with new logo!
I'll suggest Leo's All-Star Sports bar in La Crescenta because Leo and his wife are big Dolphins fans.
UPDATE APR. 21 - Called Leo's and waitress said they have 30 total TVs, 6 with sound, she is sure they can show the draft for us, but I should "Check with Nancy" later this week. So I will be doing that.
As a backup I am checking into a nice Sports Bar in hollywood to see if they'll guarantee us a table and TV with sound. We need guarantees gentlemen. Will advise as info comes in.

From Hollywood/West Hollywood, you can take Sunset toward Echo Park. Turn left at Alvarado. Turn left when Alvarado ends at Glendale Bl. Go right to get on the 2 North. It's a straight shot, and it doesn't take as long as you might think.
From Burbank, you can go up Sunland and turn right on La Tuna Canyon. Take that to the 210 East and you're at your destination before you know it.
It seems like La Crescenta is in the middle of nowhere, but it's actually pretty well connected to different parts of the city.Bpk likes this. -

Well, you're 1,600 miles closer than me! I suppose if I left by Monday, I'd be there by Thursday night. Driving that is. Says about 43-44 hours according to Mapquest. I can probably do it in less. But, man...the drive home afterward is gonna be a *****. Although, I should be sober again by the time I hit Utah.

I would be open to other locations but this is the one with the highest chance of definitely showing the draft and it has Dolphins stuff on the walls. Nice to feel at home as a Phin fan, especially in Los Angeles.
For those saying its too far, co solder how far you are from Miami! And when was the last time you connected, got together and really connected with some brothers... Not only are we fellow fin fans, but fellow ThePhin posters.
Tomorrow I'll call Leo's and confirm that the draft will be on WITH sound. That's a non negotiable for us to go there!
I'll update everyone on what time implants to be there and the address etc after I speak to them!

The plan is for Leo's on Friday from 3:30pm til whenever the Dolphins pick last.
But I am supposed to call Leo's on Thursday to confirm with the bar manager that they'll put the sound on for us (if they don't agree to sound, we 'll find an alternate place). -
