I just had to share this. I was going to get a Polk Audio speaker system, however I went with a killer sale, that I couldn't pass up. I got some Altec Lansing speakers and they rock! I got them for 60.00, but they are no longer in stock there. They are however at Walmart. If you are looking for an endorsement, these are awesome! Comes with a nice slim remote control too.

You know, I've never understood the iPod stereo fascination. Doesn't it make more sense just to get an iPod dock capable of outputting to a home stereo system?
Still, I'm glad you enjoy that Altec Lansing set. I just don't get why you'd buy one. :confused2: -
Bro when I am here doing my thing with my great outside the ear headphones on, and the wife is calling me three times and I can't hear her.:lol: Also comes in handy on road trips to share your music with others.

This may need a new thread, but I actually need some help getting a new home audio system. SurroundsSound of some sort. I have about 500 to 600 dollars to spend and would like to get the biggest bang for my buck. Anybody willing to help? I can get you the specs of my tv and everything else if need be.

Alright, for having music outside, I can understand. But for car trips? Just get a cassette adapter. $10 bucks gives you great sound quality.
