Why is it that neither Ted Ginn or Brandon Marshall can catch the damn ball while wearing the number 19 in Miami?
All last year we saw Ginn drop ball after ball (some that it looked like we could have caught) and now the disease has spread to the new number 19, Brandon Marshall. Spoooooky huh?
:tongue2: (Ya, I know this is a corny little post but I just couldn't resist) :tongue2:

I admit it, I had the same thought briefly.
But that's just crazy.
Isn't it?dolfan7171, TheAnswer385, Skeet84 and 1 other person like this. -
Im not worried about it yet... The first was a tough wedge he was between and it was rainy but the second 1 just looked like he underestimated the speed of the ball and it went right through his hands....If it happens next week in the couple throws he will probably get then Ill start to protest against 19.

Yeah, and Pat White was doomed when he chose Ray Lucas' number...

If it didn't rain and the field conditions were dry and Marshall dropped both passes I'd say hell yes No.19 is cursed and should be hung up and shot with lawn darts.
-
Apparently resistance is futile, damn Borg.
-
I wish marshall woulda picked a number in the 80's but honestly it doesnt matter what the number is anyways.
-
Ted Ginn had one stretch in his 3 years here where he dropped passes, yet it's all he gets associated with. Before last year, Ginn never had problems with drops. There is no jinx.
-
When you play with Chad Henne you better be prepared as a fanbase to deal with some drops by your receivers, its gonna happen..
The whole number thing is for wusses.dolfan7171 likes this. -

Its a jinx just like the one the Yankees have over the Red Sox.
Oh wait .....
Its a jinx until someone breaks it and it wont take long for BM to break it.Would you believe next week ?:pointlol: -
Of course there is no jinx. I just decided to post a fun thread to take our minds off the 'mud bowl'. :wink2:
If there was a jinx in Miami it would be having the best QB in the world, having him wear #13 and retire without a SB. But even that isn't a jinx. I don't think there is any numerology in football.dolphindebby and CrunchTime like this. -
Come on guys give up the superstition stuff, it is silly. Marshall is a play maker and come regular season he will be fine. Does that mean he wont drop a pass during the season, heck no who do you think he is Greg Camerillo ?

The Dolphins could not beat the Raiders on the west coast for many years. It was a jinx they said.
Well it was..............for a time. -
More on Marshall's tough luck....

change the jersey to any number other than 19
-
if too many people question or Marshall is uncomfortable w/ the number, it can be changed w/little or no trouble. don't like it, change it.
-
and i thought 13 was the unlucky number ;)

I would not trade all of those winning seasons and memories of Dan Marino's heroics on the field for one Super Bowl win and then end up being the Rams...NEVER! -
Has this thread not been removed yet? And what baboon voted it higher than 1 star? grrrrrrrrr
Dont make me break out my little :shuriken: -
Well, 3 years ago we kinda were the Rams regardless. :sigh:
-
Does that mean we can still have Otagwe? :headscratch:
-
Every Super Bowl Champion has been there once or more.
How about 17 years without a losing season? How did that make you feel? -
 lol @ this thread. i can see the same thing happening in the niners forums. :turned:
