No not the media this team. This isn't an isolated incident the media, the players, the fans... everyone is openly stating the obvious. Maybe we need this to pressure Ross he doesnt listen to fans so maybe media pressure will make him finally see what needed to be done.

I wouldn't even know where to begin with this article. It's full of so many lies, misrepresentations, hyperbole, and diatribe I thought I was reading something written by a jilted (woman) lover. Seriously, if I were to put the time into pointing out all of the crap in this article I'd be here all day.

So instead I hope the Dolphins FO and players read this and do their talking out on the field. I'm going to bookmark this article and if the Dolphins make the playoffs next season I'll be the first to throw it in the faces of the writer and editors at FOXSPORTS.

For the record Adam Schein is a stinkin jest guy. He does post games for them, so you know he was chomping at the bit to write this piece. But that doesn't mean he's wrong. btw, a poster already compared irish to Costanza so Schein is a little late.

It had no idea what actually happened in any scenario that was brought up.

This was clearly written by someone who read other reports and with no knowledge of the situations discussed. I'm sure the CLB will consider this gospel though.

I agree this article is filled with half-truths and some downright lies. IT doesn't change the fact that the organization appears to be run by monkeys taking a break from a crap fight at the zoo.

 

Ireland isn't overpaying for FA guys and instead is building thru the draft like all the other SB winners have done. He doesn't share his plan with the media and this guy is mad about it. Too bad.

7-9, 7-9, 6-10. What's it gonna take 2-14? Don't come out saying our priority is a franchise Qb and fail miserably in any attempt to land one. If you already know what the number is for Flynn in Seattle and you know you're not going to offer him more why bring him in? Same thing with Smith. As far as Ross he has the appearance of a guy who gets distracted by any "shiny thing" held in front of him. Harbaugh, Fisher, Manning et al.

I assume that there has to be a plan somewhere but at this point no one has a clue what that plan is. This team has other needs aside from QB; RT, RG, Outside pass rush threat and now a #1 receiver. We had one, a sometimes infuriating childish one, but we gave him away for peanuts. 2 thirds? Really? We gave up 2 Two's only 2 years ago and his value hasn't gone down with the rule changes favoring the passing game. Now in order to secure a QB we are going to have to overdraft Tannehill or Weeden and lose out on a good defensive player or some other position we could have used or worse trade away a pile of picks to have to move up further to get Tannehill. At this point I'd rather sit pat with Moore for another season than sell the farm for what slim QB pickings are remaining in the draft.

 

No. The front office is supposed to post everything they are planning on a website so the readers can have polls about whether or not they approve of the plans, then they are to put up sworn depositions from all participants in every conversation, successful or unsuccessful with players brought in to be considered so the readers of the boards, newspapers, sports writers can thoroughly examine whether or not the moves were the correct one, and post the proposed salaries, bonuses, incentives, so we can determine if the front office knows what it is doing or not. And then, we can do things like have idiotic banners flown over the stadium to satisfy those who will never be satisfied even if the team went 19-0, won every game by at least 30 points, had 15 all-pro players, and gave the tickets away for free.

 

This is a sore point, just because you want a franchise Qb does not mean they will bloody well come to Miami, or be found in the draft...why is this so difficult to grasp?

Article like this make me mad, while I don't care about Ireland at all, I'm really tired of having the entire media constantly s?itting on the Dolphins, doesn't matter how bad maybe we are, but all this spitting venom on us is getting to me. I'm not buying into the theory that "we deserved" therefore its ok to accept all this bad press, to me is totally disrespectful and our FO should have a press conference explaining to the media and to the fans what plan are following.JMO
