DJ Moore is one of the few Cb's whose 40 time didn't improve at his Pro Day, he more then likely is sliding back 124.

 

Murphy is the only pick i dislike.

im curious who is on the board when you made those picks. moore and barwin are fine but i dont like murphy that high. dorell scott where murphy is and i definitely could live with that draft.

I think he or Coye Frances would be good picks.

 

Yes I like Jairus Byrd...a stout guy too he lists at 5-10 but carries 205-210.

 

Yeah, was named one of the toughest players by his coaches at OSU.

 

One of my ex-highschool teammates, currently a backup QB for SJSU, had nothing but praise for Francies, especially how he gives a boost to the benchwarmers during practices and scrimmages as well as sets a good example. He certainly plays faster than his timed speed but I wonder if it'll be enough at the next level.

 

Yea I think the only 5'9 starting corner is antoine winfield. Tye Hill though started for the Rams and I believe he is 5'9. All I know is that Smith and Moore can play some football. Look at our starting CB tandem last year. Will Allen and Andre Goodman were 5'10 and I don't think that one inch is going to make that much of a difference.

Honestly if I had my choice I would rather take Jairus Byrd right now over Smith and Moore because I think he would represent better value at 44 then Smith and Moore would at 25. Then in the 3rd I wouldn't mind seeing Keenan Lewis or Francies or if we waited till the 4th I would like to see Kevin Barnes.

 

I don't think any rookie is ready to defend a Hall of Fame wide recevier.

No way Britt was available at 2b in that draft.

 

I don't think he's available in any draft IMO. I could see him going as early as eighteen.

 

Francies will have to learn to tackle more consistently in the open field IMO.

 

Agree with you on that. He tends to disappear in run support as well but I think he has the talent to be a solid player at the next level.

 

PADRE, is your #2 pick supposed to be Ron Brace.... or Ziggy Hood? LOL. I'm assuming it's Brace since Ziggy is a little small for NT.

Wow, I'd be tickled if things fell that way. MUCH more so than the picks at Jetnation. I mean, kudos for Connor Barwin at #44 even though he won't be there, but D.J. Moore is sliding into oblivion, and I think I'd rather take a kick to the nuts than get Louis Murphy in the second round.

 

YeahI told the guy that there would be some ecstatic phins fans if that happened. What I thought was suprising is that on their mock draft Vontae Davis was still there and he took Sean Smith. Not sure I'd have done the same.
