Says the difference between Miami and New Jersey is night and day, and things in New Jersey are more POSITIVE and calm......

I seriously cannot wait for the Jets games this year, I dont even know who the Pats are anymore...

Eh... he said things are looser up in NY than in Miami. Are you surprised? Does that sound like a lie?
I'm sure things are very tight here. Its how they run their ship down here. Rex is obviously more free wheeling and such.

But to say positive??? thats what pixses me off....positive?? what is so much more postive there than in Miami?? I'm sure Miami while tough to play for, renforces positive all day long...
the jab is the positive comment to me...I take it as in the direction they are going... -
To think I once rooted for this guy.... on Dancing With The Stars! :tongue2:

Its just 2 different philosophies in terms of coaching. Nothing offensive about it at all. In fact, this isnt anything we didnt already know. -
I do have the feeling that Taylor did not like the offseason workout schedule, and never has, he left DC due to their desire for his participation in offseason workouts, I have to wonder if the Jets are more along the lines of "you are veteran, you know what you need to do"?DolfanJake and DOLPHAN1 like this. -

On "Total Access" last night jt said that the Jets defensive wasn't as it appeared to be and that it would take him some time to get the system down.
it wouldn't be in his best interest to talk smack if this is the case. I'm on jt all the time but this is just PFT stirring the stuff. -

Fans ***** about this regime running a tight ship, treatment of players, being classless but do we really want to go back to what we had when we were 1-15.
cam cameron was a nice guy and all but he sucked and the team sucked.
this regime gets a bad rap from the fans and the media
it pisses me off -

If you saw where the New Jets facility is you would understand. My sister lives real close to it. Upscale community, one of the nicest in New Jersey and in that area the pace is a lot sloooooooooower then the rest of the state and even Davie Florida.
Plus you just have to figure, old pusss assss Rex is going to roll the red carpet treatment out to suck the knowledge out of him. Once reality sinks in and the affect from all that Dioxin they throw in the meatballs up there, his song will change.
I wish no ill will upon him, he is just going thru the motions making sure the local fans and media knows he is happy to be there. Thats all. In his heart, he wanted to be a Fin, nothing can change that. -

Alright, I'm sick of this same thread cropping up every 2-3 days now. So I'm just going to tell you, you're all wrong. Can we please stop discussing it? It would seem that people think that excessive amounts of crying and *****ing will make Jason Taylor no longer a Jet. News flash, it wont. If you still love and respect the man, then by all means love and respect the man. If you hate the man and want to see him break his leg and end his career, by all means hate on the man and wish him ill will. But this pathetic little pissing match that has gone on all off-season has gotten so rediculous at this point that even though I've made a point to stay out of it to this point, I can no longer stand by and watch it contaminate the boards without at least putting my two cents in on it. At least then I can feel like I at least tried.

I read that quote 10 times. I am still trying to figure out what is so bad about it.

The Dolphins preach winning through training and game planning. I can see his point but we still beat them twice in two very different ways last year because we prepared and trained. They backed into the playoffs and were exposed when the real Indy showed up. We'll see when the games actually count and the preparation has been put in who is more positive... -
One thing I never want to see again....
JT in a Fins uniform. I hope to god that our organization never gives him the respect they just gave ZT. JT can retire a Jet and live with that for the rest of his life. Maybe he can get drunk and fondle reporters on MNF as well.DolfanJake and MikeHoncho like this. -

C'mon Jason, we all can read between the lines here..
He's happy he's a jester now because he can finally wear panty hose without any one in the locker room minding. -
JT didn't say anything most nfl fan's don't know already.Jet's players were saying how happy they were with Rex and how he was a players coach.
Bill, Jeff and Tony don't come from that school of thought.
Remember how happy alot of Dallas players were when Bill Quit??????
Can't wait tell someone asks him what he thinks of the porta potties up there, lol then i'll come and read......BUT, THE BEST PORTA POTTIES ARE IN MIAMI.
