I thought nothing was to happen until AFTER the draft? So much for that.

I'm sick. I know people say "I'm sick" all the time and it's just a phrase, but I am really sick. I'm disgusted with the decision and surprised I care as much as I do. I'm pissed. I know it's a business, but nontheless I'm not at all happy with this whole situation. I'm not happy with anyone involved... Last times I felt like this was with Dan and Zach.

Wouldn't be surprised to see that dbag Fireman Ed sporting a JT #99 jersey. I don't hate JT for wanting to work, clearly this FO wasn't interested in resigning him.

So, if they add 54 to the ring of honor, can they add 99 to the ring of dishonor????

If it comes out that he was told by the Dolphin FO that they didn't want him, does that make a difference? I say "Yes". You can't say you don't want a player and then whine when he signs with a divisional rival. It seems as though he just got tired of waiting on the Phins though, until we hear more.

That said, I believe JT will regret playing a year for the Jets. He has thrown away his legacy with the Dolphin fans for years to come. I also think this team is ready to compete for the division and playoffs this year. He could have stayed and been a part of that.

A terrible play call, terribly executed.

God how I would love for Ricky to be on a head-on collision with JT. If that happens, him leaving will be worth it. lol :knucks:

you know there is plenty of blame to go around here, the FO is partially at fault and so is JT

I totally agree. I love JT for all the years he gave to Miami. JT for an not help that our current front office did not wanna resign him.

Thanks Muck. Really don't care. I was much more emotionally invested in JT than I was in RW. Unfortunately, I couldn't even sell Ricky jerseys on ebay. I still have the two I originally owned. Also, Ricky didn't go to a rival team, especially the Jets. I'm so over JT. I even went to his website and emailed him that I was going to burn all his jerseys if he went to that disgusting team.

Ellen, if you and guy you were invested with got into arguments, and he cheated on you, after a while you are back with him for whatever reason....things seemed to be going just okay, just avg....but you were taking it slow.....and then BOOM, he cheates on you again...!!

You taking him back at that point??

It's life. Meh, whatever. I love this team but you deny a guy a spot on your team, he is free to go elsewhere. The team shows no loyalty to the players, and vice versa.

I don't get how the FO was screwing him. They were going to wait until after the draft to determine whether they would pursue him, and JT knew this. The FO obviously wanted to see what would happen in the draft and whether they would be able to find his replacement or not. It was a gamble the FO made, and now if they don't draft someone that will replace him, then it was a bad gamble.

The Fins didn't want to sign Zach Thomas, he wouldn't play for the Patriots. Thats Honor. Thats somebody that loved his community and team. JT is what he has always been a DIVA. He's going to the Jets because they are trying to buy their championship this year. Even if they win, who cares when you buy it?? Maybe they should have taken a look at the Washington Redskins, you can't buy championships.

See ya JT, wouldn't wanna be ya.

I'm not looking for the best players, I'm looking for the right ones.

You're right. Blame should be shared.

I think JT wanted to play here, but just never was wanted this year. I don't blame him for taking another job. I haven't heard of ANY other team asking for his services. He wants to play and he took the only deal out there. I think many of us would do the same thing given the same scenerio.

for what? not wanting him at this point
this is a business they dont have to show loyalty to jt
thay are trying to win football games and he wasnt a part of their plan obviously
that is often overlooked when dealing with aged stars

The difference is Zach had other offers. JT didn't.

JT to the JETS only proves he is a hypocrite and has very little character after his history with them.

I feel bad the Jets fans have to swallow this **** in a way. It's different from pennington because while pennington beat us many times, I always had respect for him and his class...JT was always downright ridiculously rude about the jets and their fans...to the point it was personal.

big difference.
