I ****ing hate seeing wii play on there.
And how many people are buying wii fit with the intention of not selling it? -
Another good showing by the PS3. I would expect August to go the 360's way though with the 20GB price drop as well as September with all three 360's price dropping (although so is the PS3). Then October will see the PS3 reclaim the monthly lead with LBP and the PS3 will probably finish the year strong with Resistance 2, Socom, etc. Although GoW2 will also sell a lot of 360s; I see August/September for the 360 and October/November/December as the the PS3.

Also Xbox 360's are sold out everywhere in Japan with the release of JRPG's .

I love that Civ4 is selling very well. It's good to see a great game that's not your typical seller doing well.

Because the 360 and PS3 look to be about on the same path to me. -
Also as for the 360 being sold out in Japan that is true but its really a mirage as there were extremely few 360's in Japan so it wasn't anything to brag about for MS since they in no way moved mass amounts of consoles. It gives them hope though that maybe they can turn it around there and maybe just maybe it shows SE that FFXIII could do well there on the 360 as well which is something to keep an eye on. -

basically PS3 + 1 years time = What xbox 360 has sold now. Is how I am judging it. -

I think the PS3 will overtake the 360 at some point at the end of the cycle. They have a good year end coming up, and a strong looking 09 starting with Killzone 2.
Especially because I see the PS3 being Sony's mainstream console for 7-8ish years, maybe more. They've invested and lost to much to cut the cycle short as MS did with the xbox.
Just considering the cost, I don't see MS making another system for a bit either. Maybe they would of sooner because of the hardware failures, but I think the 360 is here to stay until 2012, MAYBE 2011.
Of course the Wii is basically a CG console hardware wise, but it's selling point has nothing to do with that, so I imagine it's here to stay until the other two gear up for the next big thing. It's going to continue to sell like crazy, despite having no good games. I can't believe Nintendo can dump **** on there hardcore fanbase and get away with it. Brilliant. -
