Nice! Be happy to see this one get done!

WAIT!!
This coming from Arm-and-oh???
Unfortunately, that certainly means Keller is actually on the West Coast about to sign with the lightning bolts.
Next report that ignoramous gets right, will be the first. -

Be nice to get this done. Wanted him from the beginning because I felt the price will be right and he wouldn't try to rob the bank.
Now that the high profile FA TE's are off the board, it makes sense grabbing him now barring a clean physical.MAFishFan likes this. -
I think this is a done deal. It makes too much sense for Keller to sign with us.

My lasting memory of this guy is him getting blasted over the middle by Ray Lewis on primetime...Still great to watch over and over again.
I love the Ellerbe+Wheeler signings, not too happy about Wallace, and would have preferred we just draft a TE instead of signing Keller...
He has caught 60.6% of his passes over his 5 year career so it could be worse. The ankle injury is the main issue, so that physical will be vital. -
On top of that there seems to be some bad blood between Keller and the Jets (maybe behind closed doors) so it makes even more sense for Keller to sign with Miami so that he can burn his old team twice a season. Thats my theory on why I think this is a done deal.azfinfanmang likes this. -

I'd be happier with Keller than I would have with Cook. Sanchez was the only thing holding him back, and he was still productive.
-
As for the injury prone stuff...He's played in 78 of the 86 games the Jets have had since he's been drafted. -

This is just an anecdote, but one of my best fuzzy Keller memories is of somebody nearly knocking him out on a play. He either never left the game or came back into the game a couple of plays later and made a crucial catch. Dude shouldn't have been on the field and he made a clutch play, anyway.
I am not sure if this was a game vs. the Phins; I was not happy with the play, I do remember that.
Keller is the only Jet other than Chad Pennington that I have respected throughout his Jets tenure. Pennington worked out pretty well as a Phin, IMO. -
Where's Max Lukas to give us every single ball thrown at Dustin Keller from 2012?
(/spoiled) -
This guy would really open things up for our passing game, especially with Jake Long being gone. -
hopefully this gets done.

Sparano's playbook. No thank you. The last copy we had, we burned a couple of years ago.
