This one has a little of bit everything for Blues fans. It has a little pep to it, some slow and in between. Gary Moore is one of the best guitar players out there. If you have never heard of him, check his stuff out on you tube. It seems lately that I have given 5 star ratings out, but I really enjoyed the new Tesla, and this one without a doubt is a 5 star cd. The cd is "Bad For You Baby" If you have a few extra dollars in your pocket, pick it up, or give it a listen on Amazon first.

I have listened to this now three times, and it gets better every time I listen to it. It is 9.99 on Itunes, just a heads up so you can save some money.

Hmm I'm not a fan of the whole symphony blues, basically trumpets and such, but this guy has some soul for sure.......

I have been getting more and more into Blues and can't believe it's escaped me this long. I've always known of the influence Blues had on some of my favorite early Rock bands but still it didn't click. It wasn't until The White Stripes that I finally started to find my way over (and yes I know The White Stripes aren't Blues  but they do borrow heavily).
So the thing I want to ask you Blues guys is can you tell me about some great Blues music and musicians. You can PM or tell me here but I trust you guys will steer me in the right direction.
BTW the music in this thread is SUPERB. -
Alot of people like robert johnson so he might be something you may want to check out. Keep in mind though that I am more old school blues then new.sking29 likes this. -

Otis taylor is a talented guy and creative. He seems to like to put different sounds into the blues, spanish guitar for instance.Fin Fan In Cali likes this. -

I am bumping Brother Greg's thread in case others didn't see it. He started out as a rocker for sure, but has really settled in with the blues for his last several recordings. Very good guitar player who has a awesome DVD out if you want to see it.

This is the guy that was Muddy Water's biggest influence to play the blues. It's Son House. Some really good blues.
