Big mistake by Tua in the redzone.. ive said before this kid is not good with a short field when hes required to complete short passes and tighter windows..


With that said hes clearly not healthy and hes not moving right... he just had surgery 3 weeks ago... if he continues to struggle Saban wont hesitate to go with the backup.. this could be the season..

 

Yea that offensive line is turnstile for Alabama today.. theyre going to have to go no huddle if they want to give Tua an opportunity to make plays.

Terrible delay of game penalty by Burrow. He seemed to hesitate in that situation.

 

LSU is pulllibg all the tricks in the book to slow alabama down from going to a fast pace offense.. fake injuries, etc..

 

That was a great throw by Tua to Smith.. and a nice fake.. Tua did a fake snap, looked away to the sidelines for half a second, the defense were caught looking the other way, center snapped it and tua threw a bomb in stride.

 

That sack was stupid by Burrow lol how do u go out of bounds in that situation.. throw it away

 

Burrow needed to throw that away. Little things are important in games like this and he is making too many mistakes.

The comparison I made of him to Marcus Mariota is so on point.. he just doesnt do well in small windows and short fields.. him and Mariota and Taulia Tagovailoa all went to the same high school in Hawaii and that system makes every quarterback look good..

This was the game for Burrow to show he could play with the big boys, while Tua needed to show he could have success versus a top defense. One player has silenced the critics, the other has raised more questions.
