You'd be amazed how many people mix ammonia and chlorine when cleaning, especially floors. I've run across it dozens of times in my restaurant days, in an enclosed space the gas can overwhelm you. Who the hell wants to croak in the crapper from Chlorine gas inhalation?
Be careful fellow Fin Fans.

This is an excellent warning.
Back in the 80's the mother of a friend of mine died when she mixed bleach and ammonia while cleaning her bathroom.
It definitely opened my eyes to the dangers of this stuff.Miamian and opfinistic like this. -

She was a really nice Cuban lady that liked to keep a spotless house.
You really don't think too much about this stuff since you buy it at the grocery store but it can be deadly.opfinistic likes this. -

Damn...some cautionary tales here.
Honestly, I thought it was as common knowledge not to mix bleach and ammonia as not going out in the cold without a jacket.
Guess not, though; maybe some consumer education (re-education?) is due. With as disconnected as the current crop of twenty-somethings seems to be with domesticity and its trappings, it could be a life-saver for a lot of folks.Miamian and opfinistic like this. -
While we're at it...don't douse gasoline on a large pile of dry leaves and bend over and light it.
