I thought Fox was going to use Collinsworth to floss Strahan's gap teeth?

I must be stupid or strange, a lineup of Brown, Simms and Collinsworth sounds like a decent show to me. I'll watch it.
-
I was never crazy about Marino's on air ability anyway. But Collinsworth and Simms? Sounds kinda bland to me.

Chris freakin' Collinsworth? Pardon me while I throw up my insides.

I dont mind CC that much, hes better than alot of people out there.
And ROFL at the Boomer and Dan comment, so true, Boomer is an ***. -
That show took a nose dive as soon as Peter King took over. I thought Danny was funny & genuine but he is pretty limited in terms of analysis and commentary. I can't imagine what Huizinga was thinking when he hired Marino, but to be fair to Danny, he looks like an astrophysicist next to Boomer Easiason. Boomer is really horrible, and to top it off he is always angry and bitter sounding about everything. He completely destroyed that stereotype about QB's being brainy. :shifty: -
"You know, I used to play quarterback..." -

As for the good, no more Costas:up: I can't stand that obnoxious runt. I like JB, since I have always been partial to the NFL on FOX show, and JB and Collingsworth worked good on that show. Also since I prefer Showtime to HBO these days(I like Dexter a lot, and Diary of a Callgirl is cool, and HBO has bored me since Six Feet Under ended), it is a good thing.
It's a shame that the Man did not make the cut for the transistion, but then again he is not that great on the air. -
I am sure Dan will get a gig with the NFL Network working next to Eisen. I can't stand Collinsworth/Costas on HBO, or Shannon Big Mouth Sharpe on CBS, and I am sure Dan would rather work with other people.

I heard that the creator(s) of 6 Ft Under are the ones behind Generation Kill, the story about marines in Iraq. Should be interesting to see how that turns out. HBO has been marketing it pretty heavy lately.
