I wasn't aware Marshall held the record for most receptions in a single game.

Yeah man. I wonder who his QB was when he accomplished that. Maybe we should look into him. :chuckle:

Marshalls physical condition had more to do with him not being as productive imo..
The explosiveness was not there, 2 offseasons of rehab work will do that to you..I could tell by the way he was running last year that he was not in top physical condition and was not confident in his speed.
If the man can keep his mind right, he will look like a different player this year.. -

Wow ... another no news day ... this is becoming more than mildly annoying ...

You aim too low. He caught 21 in a game, so he SHOULD average that. 336 receptions...and dammit I want it this season or I'm gonna sick Killaphins on him.xphinfanx likes this.

Face it, he's garbage.
96 catches in a season would be......a Miami Dolphins franchise record.
His 86 last season (in 14 games) was only good enough for.....second in franchise history.MarinePhinFan, xphinfanx, and 3 others like this. -
Yes but if he averaged 21 receptions per game that would show he is back on the upside.

All I can say is...Krrrippes, you got to be kidding me with this stuff, as if the dislike of Henne by NFL media types is not bad enough, now Marshall who had a pretty good season, is of course, declining.

He declined immensely in the TD and YAC department.
Those are the two most important areas to me. -
KP...did u pay attention to who his Qb was?

And his OC......

Not a single reference that the broncos LOST that 21-catch game? Really?
maybe...just maybe...Orton was throwing to him way too damn often and catches don't equal pts...Perfect example of how Orton can fill up the stat sheet and still not win a damn game. -
Orton had a decent game. The 8-4 Broncos were at the 12-0 Colts. Colts jumped out to a big lead. Orton to Marshal brought them back in the 4th quarter but then the Broncos Defense couldn't keep them out of the end zone and they lost 28-16...not a bad showing. The Colts had a legit chance to go undefeated if they didn't rest their starters the final two weeks of the season.
