I'm glad the De La Hoya rematch isn't happening (snooze-fest). But I really wished he and Cotto could have rumbled.

I'm still pissed that I dropped $60 (or whatever it was) on that PPV...even though I ended up splitting it with three other guys.

Surprised he won't sleepwalk through another garbage fight with De La Hoya for another huge paycheck. That fight sucked, I watched it for free in Afghanistan (American Forces Network gets things like that for free for Soldiers) and I still paid too much.

Tell you what though, that knockout of Hatton was one of the slickest and most impressive I'd seen. He flat beat up that guy up, and then posterized him at the end. -
Im also shocked that Mayweather is retiring. I thought he was pretty young??? I dont follow much boxing, but this is a surprise to me... however as is aid, i dont know his age, so maybe it shouldnt be much of a surprise. -
EDIT: Just checked, he's 31.Last edited: Jun 7, 2008brandon27 likes this. -

i wish he kept boxing. he needs to continue his impressive resume

Not that he needs it... Tells this to Evander Holyfield, he has pissed away 248 million. And the fact that I see Floyd constantly with money out in cash, makes me think he isn't putting it all away. -
Boxers saying they are retiring is about as convincing as Clinton saying he did not have sex with that woman.
