I am like a kid in a candy store about this game! I am looking forward to shaking hands, talking, and just having a Barley Pop or two with the great Brothers and Sisters. :ffic:As Brother Ken said, my goal is to meet as many of the family as I possibly can. I want to put a site name with a face. I will definitely be taking a lot of pics of the family.:wink2: If you can make it to this game it would be awesome! Would love to get a big group picture as well.

Well a monkey wrench has been thrown in my direction, in this endeavor.
Allegent Air has been flying a diect route from my town of Santa Maria to Phoenix on mondays and fridays. Well this week Allegent decided to cut out many routes, including the Santa Maria to Phoenix one (also Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and Piedmont, NC to Ft. Lauderdale routes were also cut out) at the end of May.:sad:

This definitely complicates things for my plans.:no:

Ive been waiting on this game for a while! I attend all the somewhat local games they play here close to Albuquerque New Mexico. I sat 50 yard line 1st row Sunday night when the Phins played the Broncos when Mare and Elam had a kick off in the last min of the 4th quarter. I remember Elam kicked that 40 yarder and then we drove back down and Mare hit that 50 yarder! Everyone was talking so much trash to me and my friend and then we came back and beat them on a last second FG! That was a awesome game! My head was never higher leaving a football game!

I also remember flying to Phoenix to morning of the San Diego fires when they moved the game from SD to PHX. Monday night game in the beautiful desert! I cant remember if we won but it was a FREE game that night since they moved it.

Sorry to ramble but I will be there hell or high water! Cant wait to meet all of you and start and new tradition here at ThePhins.com!

I might try to attend the festivities. It will depend on where the game falls in the schedule...

 

As soon as the schedule comes out, I'll be planning my trip.

 

GOd man I so badly want to go, this schedule needs to come out so I can set it up. I just hope it is not close to the Seattle game as there is a 99% chance of me flying to that one. I WOULD LOVE TO MEET EVERYONE THERE.

 

My thoughts exactly. Starting in late May, I have an ungodly travel schedule through to the new year. I really hope this game falls on a favorable date for me.

Well, at least it's not humid in Arizona... More of a dry-heat. Hopefully the C2C guys can handle that heat though.

 

Well not the best date for the game:no: The next week would have been better for me.
The good thing is no home Cal Poly game that week:yes:
Not so good things, a 2 day golf tournament I was going to play in, and it is a couple of days after I get back from a baseball trip(Angels/Yankees in Anaheim). Also my brother's birthday where usually a wild party is done.

I'm in...no doubt about it. I may not be able to leave though until Mid-day Saturday as my boy plays on Saturdays. There will be 4 of us Finfan...

This will be my first time organizing a trip with such a large group. Are tickets the only thing we will try to get a deal on or are we going to try to get rooms, flights, etc as a group.

I'm in the Riverside, California area and if anyone else is flying out of Ontario on Saturday the 13th after 7 pm let me know. I'm going to get a room in Glendale with my family and rent a car along with the flight.

Ken is MIA over the past two days. Strange...anyhoo. Looking good for me. It is gonna be hot, but worth it.

I am planning on bringing the Lady of Samphin along with me (thus screwing up my barhopping, girl trapping plans...oh well) as she is good luck for the fins and they have never lost when she is present...either in person or in front of the TV (in fact, the only game she watched last year was the Ravens game...which convinced me that she holds the power for the fins...)

Plus, added bonus of having a photographer/videographer with us to document the whole weekend of debaouchery!

 

For the record folks, it will be cooled down some by Sept 14th..bet it doesnt get but a skoche over 100:up:


Also, I am also bringing Mama along. WIll be leaving the girls at home though...Which means a little debauchere....but not TOO much.
