they didnt say what his injury was
-
That really really really sucks. I have no doubt he'll work through the injury and come back fired up for next season.
-
Most of us knew it was going to be bad. Sucks that we lost him for the rest of the season now we need Ginn to step up.
-
-
Watching the presser Sparano seems pissed about a lot of what happened yesterday and very disappointed and upset about Camarillo. -
Tbh I would be a lot more disappointed if it was Ginn who was out for the season. I think the tight ends along with Bess and London can fill the void.
One thing that does suck is it came on an interception return.azfinfanmang and TheAnswer385 like this. -
That really sucks. He's our most reliable WR, hands down. Maybe they'll have to start throwing to Fasano again...God knows why they stopped in the first place.

I feel bad for the guy
-
I'm glad he got the contract extension before this happened.

Sucks to hear that, but this was expected. Hope he regains his form for next year, we'll be rooting for him for sure.
-
Makes me hate the Patriots even more. Back to back years we lose key offensive players on interceptions against them.
-
-
This is bad news.
-
What was expected sadly. Still waiting on the Jake Long update. If he's even out for a game or real banged up, that will really suck.
Hopefully London causes some damage now as the #2 WR as Bess should not be moved out of the slot. -
:tantrum: I hope he rests well enough and gets well ASAP.
I hate he's out but this will give one of our other guys a chance and at least they'll be able to really see if they want to keep a guy. -
Fitting that he was lost during a turnover last year Green & Brown were both injured for the season from the scramble after a turnover.

Stupid cheatriots, first Ronnie and now Greg

Not good news...hope he heals well and can start rehab
-
I think London could be a star in the league IMO. This is the time for him to show us what hes got.

need fasano to step it up as well
-
I posted this in the VIP forum, but i thouoght i would put it out here too. Lets just say a little birdie told me.
Cammy has an ACL/MCL sprain - he'll have surgery in the next few weeks.
Jake long = high ankle - he'll be in a boot all week - he is expected to play

thanks ffg. i guess you can't tell your bird but secretly i thank them as well.

much better than a tear no ?
-
if the Dolphins throw an interception at home next year against the Pats, I want everyone on the field to fall down and not even attempt to make a play.

I'm the first one to say this, but whatever. This is the time where WILFORD has to step up and earn his contract.

At this point in the season (for THIS season at least), you pretty much are what you are.
Maybe London can do something but I seriously doubt it.
Cams injury is bad not just because it was him but because we have a bad history of getting WRs hurt and then when they come back they are never the same.
Lets hope that this training staff can reverse that...but damn...his ACL AND MCL...crap man the dude was never really that fast to begin with he was OK but nothing special in the speed department...and if he loses a step...CRAP -
Although the contract thing doesn't matter in that how would you predict that it would happen (the injury)?
Unless of course you say we have bad luck, but thats not really realistic...sort of.
But, what else can you chalk it up too...
Just bad luck and now we have to hope he does come back the same or else we've got Wilfork #2...another WR with a contract that doesn't produce. -
What if we didn't sign him, he takes it as a slight and leaves the team when his contract is up? Or, worse yet he has a breakout year and gets big headed and won't sign a 2 mil per year contract?late again likes this. -
Confirmed- Camarillo tore ligaments
Head Coach Tony Sparano confirmed at his day-after press conference that Camarillo tore ligaments in his left knee while trying to tackle New England's Brandon Meriweather following his interception of a Chad Pennington pass in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 48-28 loss at Dolphin Stadium. In an eerie coincidence, that's the same way running back Ronnie Brown saw his season come to an end last year when he tore the ACL in his right knee tracking down New England's Randall Gay after an interception.

Brandon London and who?
-
i have no worries about cam not coming back stronger. he knows whats ahead of him
-
a sprain/strain is a tear - they are put into degrees - 1st = microtear, 2nd = macrotear 3rd = rupture. From the horse's mouth...Cammy - torn acl/torn mcl, meniscus - will have surgery in about 3 weeks. he is officially out for about 6 - 8 months. Depends on what they have to do to the meniscus - If they repair it he wont be able to be weight bearing for about a month. If they remove the torn pieces he can be weight bearing 3 - 7 days post surgery. Rehab takes about 6 months give or take.
