A much needed great day for Ginn. He made the tough catches, got open, and had a helluva day. 7 catches for 175... discuss

Ted Ginn breaks out
what a game from Ginn! They finally got him the ball down field and he made plays. He may be small but he can take some hits and hold onto the ball. I'm hoping that this is the confidence booster that he desperately needs to get himself going.
MVP of the game, great win and nice job Teddy!HULKFish, Larryfinfan, like2god and 3 others like this. -

what were his final stats?

Wow. He's gotten physical and proves that he can take a hit. Shuts me up right there for sure. Got to give him credit, he played a helluva game, not only on offense but he saved our behind on that muffed kickoff.

That first catch was great. I don't think he would have outrun Whitner on the other one. Great game by Ginn.
-
We came out with a game that called for getting the ball to Ginn deep, we came out and did it on our first couple of drives, including the first play of the game, which set the tone for what we would do the rest of the game. Kudos to Ginn, this was easily his best game as a pro.

Ginn tore it up today, yet the haters will still be critical of him.:pity:
Great day for Ginn.....7 for 175 HELL YEAH!!!!!!!:up:Dolfan4Life and like2god like this. -
If I had to like one Dolphin, Ginn would be the one.
Go Pats!!!! -
Awesome game by Ted Ginn. Welcome to the NFL!
Ted wouldn't have beaten Whitner, he had the angle. Great YAC, he made some tough catches, made some BIG catches. Great game. If we can get some consistency there, he could be a very good player for us. -
Wait...Gish is a PATS fan???
Please, nooo.... -
-
why would he not trust his speed in that run?? is he not that fast or is whitner a safety faster
that is the only complaint i have he was dynamite and holding onto a couple of those catches were great -
-
I'm proud of the guy and I am one of the people saying he is looking like a bust. If he can do this for a few more weeks I'll have to reconsider. Its great to be 3-4 versus 2-5 though. That Texans game still haunts me...win it and the Fins are 4-3 right now and a game out of first. There is still some hope though and overall a great game.
-
I'll eat my share of crow as I have been extremely critical of the guy up to this point. He played exceptionally well this week, but please DO NOT lose sight of the fact that he toasted a guy (McGee) who was essentially playing on one ankle.
I'll hold judgement until I see some sort of consistency from him. -
-
hopefully he does not pull a ROTH and disappear after his 1 good game

I am still wondering why he stopped on that one catch and run, I think he would have easily beat Donte to the sideline and gotten a TD.
And Ginn bailed out Chad multiple times today. He was so wide open andChad could barely get the end over end ball to him. Kudos to Ginn for selling out and taking a few licks to secure the catch.
Good game by Ginn. -

Ginn gained a lot of respect today.. Hat tipped to him!

Injured or not, he tore it up today.
I will take that every Sunday.:yes:Dolfan4Life and Loyal Fin like this. -
You'd think after 100 or so yards receiving they might make a switch?
I said it in the other thread, some people are never satisfied...gafinfan, unluckyluciano, GridIronKing34 and 5 others like this. -
I don't know many people who wouldn't "take that"....only on message boards.

Damn, we win a game, Ginn plays his butt off and yet people find a way to bash him or take away what he did today.Unreal.:pity:Dolfan4Life, Lt Dan, Loyal Fin and 1 other person like this. -
I've been saying it all year long; he's open EVERY WEEK. I'm not surprised by Ginn's performance. He was due. He should be on pace for 1,000 yards this year, and I'm not exaggerating.. he gets open like this EVERY WEEK. I'm surprised, however, that we actually looked his way. NICE BLOCKING UP FRONT, great job by CHAD today. Atta boy, Teddy!
And for those who have anything negative to say about Ted's PERFECT day, look, we know you're still upset that we drafted an entire "family" and only got one player out of it, but LET IT GO. -
Im not saying Ginn is going to be a superstar in this league by any means. He has a long way to go and today was a nice start. Lets hope he can build on this and become a better receiver.Loyal Fin likes this. -
The most impressive thing is that he held on to the 2-3 balls where he took a LICK.
This kid has heart; got right back up and got into the defender's face. -
Im emotionally invested dude...VERY invested..
