“He’s a play-eater in the defensive line that produces a lot,” Sparano continued. “When you put Tony in the game for 30 plays his byline is usually pretty good. His 30 plays at times can be greater than somebody else’s 45-47 plays. So the production that you get out of this has been valuable, and I think when you add into that group, you know with Kendall and with Merling and with Randy and Paul and now Jared, that makes a pretty salty group.”
I think the staff does deserve some props for the depth and talent we have along the DL. If one guy goes down, we don't have to worry about our DL turning to Swiss cheese. :up:
