You gotta' love the confidence, but it is true and we are certainly going to need him to be that player against the Rivers and Gates.

Yeah, he's been lights out since he came back. He's third on the team in solo tackles for the season! We're going to need him back there. He's an impact player when the coaches let him play his way. Do you guys think that he's lined up on Gates the most this week, or the linebackers?

So, against conventional wisdom, they stopped trying to get me to pay attention the traditional way and let me be because it worked for me.
Moral of the story is, if what he's doing works for him but is different than what works for you.......then be thankful he's doing something that works.RickyNeverInhaled likes this. -

Ya' see in the REAL world, If this happened to most of us working folk. We would be out of a job and worried about feeding our family.
BUT, if given a second chance we would look at it as a new beginning with renewed vigor. You know, like a second chance.
Most would work exceptionally harder to try and keep their your job, right? LOL, just putting it out there....
So anyway, he's looked good since he came back. Hope he continues to do so.Finatik likes this. -
He looks like 2012 Reshad Jones and it's fun to watch. He's not wrong. I hope he can keep it up.

He plays at 1.000 mph. Love him.

While I appreciate his contributions, I can't help wonder about anyone who would make that kind of comment for self-praise. That reminds me of the Brandon Marshall diva stuff we had to deal with a few years ago. Next thing you know, he's going to be demanding a max contract and nudie pictures of Tannehill's wife.

He is one of the best Safety in the league. No homer. He can read a offense and shed blockers, he can tackle like a truck, and he has speed.

If Koa Misi can ever get is ankle right...

Really and now Dion Sims has Toe problems..we need to put an extra lineman in to take Sims place so it does not effect our run game...can any of them catch? Dion Jordan would be an option possibly but does he know or could he learn the offense?

Reshad is playing some great ball..I am hoping he keeps it up..I was very happy that we drafted him out of Georgia and it is great to see him playing up to his potential.

I didn't even read the replys to this yet so aplologies if I'm being repetitive, but my first thought was.. WHAT?
The best safety in the league was a dumb arse in the off season and wasn't even on the field for the first quarter of the season? I think not Brah.
Not that I'm not happy you are back and ballin. Just shut up. Be humble and earn something before you go claiming it. I for one would respect that.Finatik likes this. -
But, I also realize that the world has changed in a HUGE way since then, and the media (and social media) contribute greatly to this type of stuff. Guys get baited, quoted out of context, etc.
That said, I'd still rather have a guy be more humble. If he's really that good, it will be recognized by his peers and the media. he doesn't need to say it for himself.
JMHO. -

Hell even greats like Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas were underrated by the sports media for a long time.
Besides, if Reshad can say he's great then he damn sure better continue to back it up. -

I think if Jones said he could jump higher than anyone in the NFL he would probably be right too. That was one heck of a jump for the pick he did today!
-
Almost made another one too. Dude is lights out. Too bad he can't make the Pro Bowl. Earning his money though.
-
There has probably always been the same amount of trash talking, but the lack of media never brought it into the mainstream. Now, the players have a platform for it to get out.
As long as they aren't being stupid about it (see: Houston, Lamar), then it's all good.
He has played a heckuva game today. Nice to see him rebound after last year's sub-par campaign. -
