Maybe it is more or less a question of coaching philosophy
I'd much rather see them practice at full speed for 1 hr then 1/2 speed for 3 hours. How you gonna work on blocking technique or route running for example if your running them 1/2 speed.
Its the quality of practice not the quanity:up:dolfan7171 likes this. -
would have rather read "We tried to interview coach sparano after practice, but it never ended. There still running right now."
Losing to the bills. Bleh. -
God I hope we win as my sister is there and she is a stinking Pats fan.Bpk and dolfan7171 like this. -
And not a week too late either.

They had better play with some ****ing fire on Sunday.

Of course you can judge weather a player knows the assignment or not. Certain parameters are not judge-able unless done at full speed.....maybe this is the reason for some of the questionable coaching decisions.:up:dolfan7171 likes this. -
So we wait until we go 5-6 and decide it is time to light a fire?

you are correct there is a difference between speeds, but if you can not do something full speed, using progression as a means to correct it, again is not a bad idea, nor does it lower the quality of the practice. -

Maybe Darlington is getting his HS football movies mixed up? I've not yet seen Friday Night Lights. Could it have been a scene from that movie? Surprising, when I think about not having seen it, because I really like Thornton as an actor.
The other possibility is there are two versions of Titans. Maybe I've just seen the regular version and there could also be a Director's Cut, with deleted scenes put back in.
