I know this wont go over well at all but Miami needs to wear the all aqua for a while , the all white is so dull and it reminds me of the cam and sparano administrations.
i wished they would at leat wear the orange pants / aqua jersey or wear the white jersey / orange pants . just take away the dull ness of the all white.
maybe we will go winless the rest of the season and get some much needed change and a new dark helmet wont kill the fanbase or team either. :pity:

lol wut? we don't have orange pants. I think the all white looks good. Except for the see thru plants... I dopn't need to see linemen's jockstraps
-
The aqua pants are garbage. I'd rather see the aqua tops with white pants or white on white.

White on white is fine for the road. I also understand that it may give the team some slight edge early in the year when its extremely hot and sunny in Miami.
What I dont understand, is why every other warm weather team that plays outdoors (Tampa, Jacksonville, San Diego) wear their "real" home jersey most of the season, but Miami never does for a day game, even a 4pm start after daylight savings, when its dark by the second quarter. That just tells me you dont want to wear the aqua jersey for whatever reason.
I hope that any changes to the uniform and logo are only minor tweeks, and they dont become something hideous like the Titans.Aquafin likes this. -
The all aquas are the best uni's we have. However, the issue is that we have to wear all white at home or we are just dumb and handicapping ourselves in the heat. And most teams wear their colors at home, which forces us to wear white on the road.
We wear colors at home in primetime games at night where the whites arent needed, but otherwise end up wearing white almost in every game of the season...
One exception may be at Dallas, where I think the Cowboys wear white at home as well...Aquafin likes this. -

This may be the college football fan in me, but I like the all-anything color schemes. I think they look sharp.
Not a huge fan of mixing the white, but all-white gives that storm tooper look, a la UM last night. That didn't end well, though. -

The all whites were long before Cam/Sparano. I hated whoever introduced the white jersey/aqua pant look.

I hate the all whites. We need to embrace the aqua and whatever shade of blue it is that's part of our uni.

I love the aqua, either for the jerseys or the pants, not a fan of the all white

I was thrilled to see the all white uniforms on the road. The auqa pants are just awful, what a terrible look. Remember when they first wore them and they were shiney LMAO uuuugh. I cant imagine anyone looking at them and thinking that looks good. Seriously they look like fishing waders. lol

Aqua tops with white pants or white tops and white pants. The aqua pants are rubbish and should NEVER be seen again.

So much hate for the aqua pants. I love the aqua pants.
But I also love the all-white look as well. Doesn't matter to me. -
IIRC, the Phins have been wearing all whites at home for day games since 1966. Every once in a while they would put the aqua jerseys over the white pants, and sometimes they would wear their Mr. Greenjeans uniforms. Bad, but not as hideous as the walking traffic cones!!!

I think it must be a coaching staff thing on wearing them. If I remember correctly when Saban took over he ditched the aqua pants because he reportedly hated them. I don't recall them being used in Cam Cam's season either. They made their comeback when Sparano took over in 2008. -
I like the aqua shirts and white pants combo.
-
No aqua pants, no orange pants, just white pants. Sorry, but some things are just fine.

Dumb thread to be honest.

I like the white on whites for home games. It's traditional, its Miami. I just wish they would do away with the block shading under the numbers completely. I'm a huge fan of the aqua pants for road games, but if during the nike conversion--they're now flat (not shiny) I won't care if I don't see them again. I think the flatness killed the aqua jersey.
-
I think the all Aqua is best, followed by the Aqua top white pants, followed by Orange top white pants... then the All whites
-
I don't see any reason to call the post or opinion of the OP 'dumb' (which insinuates he is dumb, which I disagree with too).
I personally like the whites.
It's just color preferences. I mean, let's act like adults in this discussion. Sheesh, I'm not even a moderator and I'm saying this.
Btw, clearly the Orange Jersey is the nicest.ToddPhin likes this. -

I personally hate the all whites. Just... plain and bland, and boring. I dont particularly care though, as long as we win. Id rather see the white tops, with the aqua pants though, at least its not so plain.

I personally think we should make our new Uni's similar to Notre Dame or Oregon :shifty:
