Thanks for the input. Its hard to project some of they guys without insider info. How about this for the for the first four rounds:
1. Jared Odrick NT
2. Nate Allen FS
3. AJ Edds ILB
4. Blair White WR
Round 6 and 7 are near impossible to predict so I'll skip em.

It seems plausible for sure. I don't know that I'd be excited about such a draft though. Not saying I'll be excited about our actual draft (when it's over) either though.

Odrick is a DE in the 34 maybe if you put dan williams in the first fine but odrick at 12 is to high IMO

I strongly agree with Pete here, HOWEVER, especially with the incredible lack of talent we currently have at MLB, he would not fit the bill for us at NT.

I don't see him as being the tree-trunk taking on double and triple team type that our very pedestrian MLB's need to be able to get involved.
What I do see is another player much in the Mold of Randy Starks. One that wins with finesse and athleticism. Not brute force.

Well no he isn't going to take on triple teams, but he probably would get double teamed often. I don't see why we should pass on him just because of mediocre ILBs though (unless it's to upgrade the ILB spot) if we think he's the best player. Odrick (like Starks) wins with penetration, they aren't always asked to hold his ground to allow others to move around. Odrick (like Starks) is likely very strong. Having strength and speed are not bad things. :lol:

Odrick would not be a 2 down player like the "tree-trunk" type Terrance Cody would be.

No, he would be another ultimate infielder much like Starks is.
I love Starks, but even knowing he is what he is, I wouldn't spend the 12 overall on him either :wink2:

What if Odrick was another Richard Seymour (assuming Odrick plays DE for us) would you spend #12 if you knew that? (just curious)

That''s one of my reasons for mock drafting him, if he can't play NT(Which I don't see a reason why not)or if Soliai grows into his potential, he is versatile enough to play DE. Cody and Williams don't have that option.

I think Odrick can play end but I don't think nose is a spot that he would struggle at. He can play it and play it well IMO.

IMO, he's exactly like a tree trunk. He can take on double teams because of his very long arms and very good strength. He's also got enough quickness to get under blockers pads and cause some disruption in the backfield. He moves well. I like him a lot.

first i think he would need to gain a little weight at 295 maybe gain 10 pounds and it all depends on how he plays with his height if he plays at his entire 6'5 he would get killed at NT and would have a very short career but if he can play 6'2 or shorter then he would be fine

IM not saying NT is to high i am saying it is to high for Ordrick i konw for a fact that Dan Williams is going to be there at 12 and IMO he would be a better pick then Odrick who would need to gain a couple pounds and be able to play smaller then his 6'5 dan Williams is a perfect size for a NT 6'2 330 pounds with a great motor and in pretty good shape for his size if Odrick is a NFL he is going to have a short NFL career IMO i dont know how long he can take on 2 OL that are sometimes 40-50 pounds heavier then him with his size

I really don't understand how an inconsistent player is worthy of the twelfth overall pick but a consistent player is not.

Weight's a bit overblown with nose tackles. You can be quality and be 305 pounds. You don't necessarily have to be 335 and a slob. I also don't think height is that significant, arm length is more important to me. Odrick's arms are 34 and a quarter inches whilst Williams' are 33.

Besides that, one of the best nose tackles in the league in this same exact scheme is about the same weight as Jared Odrick and that nose is Jay Ratliff.

7b. Keiland Willams RB Has the size at runningback the FO looks for.

Love the Edds pick.

I like Odrick, Worilds, and Alem. However if we draft a nose tackle at #12 I suspect it will be Dan Williams.

Not a fan of Allen, White, Peek, Cook, and Willams.
