Minor scope, clean up ready for TC. Miller is not terrible. So if anything, let him heal up.....keep throwing to Miller/Thomas out of the backfield....and bring Moreno into the fold when ready.

Hope he is going to be ok.

Well hopefully some decent vets become available .......The running back position HAS to have more talent this year, it has to. I was really surprised that we didn't invest a fairly high draft pick on a running back. Some decent talent seemed to slip pretty far in the draft, we probably should have pulled the trigger. Thomas and Miller are not enough, neither has proven themselves and Thomas has shown that he is questionable to even be on an NFL roster.

Moreno recently admitted the Dolphins were the only team to reach out to him in free agency.
Lamar Miller, this is your chance. -
Somehow, Daniel Thomas will continue to get the chance to run for 3 yards a carry.
In all seriousness though I think the new GM likes Mike Gillislee and will probably give him a shot to do something if Moreno's health is a big issue. Orleans Darkwa is worth the look too.Steve-Mo likes this. -
While it's a bit early to be etching Knowshon Moreno's gravestone, I reiterate that I don't really understand the signing. I didn't like it when it happened and obviously I like it even less now that we know no other team was onto him, he came with an injury and a gut, and Miami appears to be moving toward using their backs to block less and on the route more.
The cost of Knowshon Moreno is not just going to be the $3.0 million for the one year. It's the opportunity cost. There were *sources* that had been pretty clear that Miami had been doing a ton of work on the running back position, guys available in free agency or by trade, as well as the draft. It appears that effort stopped when they signed Moreno.
Lache Seastrunk was still on the board when Miami picked Arthur Lynch in the 5th round. That's going to be a regret. -
I don't think Moreno on the team was the reason Miami didn't take Lache Seastrunk.

It would be cool if someone can list which, if any, RBs are still on the market. I have no time. The thought of going into the season again with D. Thomas and Miller and a still suspect OL, kind of nauseates me. I was hoping for more of a "thunder" type back to compliment Miller. A guy who can get the tough yards, red zone, etc.
-
No way of knowing that.
-
Odds are the latter but who can say.
-
How is that possible? He's at minimum solid in all phases of the game; rushing, receiving, blocking. Seems like someone would be interested.
